F2, Perlas sasalang din sa bubble training

Ikakasa ng F2 Logistics at Perlas Spikers ang kani-kanyang bubble training upang paghandaan ang Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Open Conference.

Target ng Cargo Movers na magsagawa ng training camp sa Valentino Resort and Spa sa San Jose, Batangas.

Isinumite na ng pamunuan ng F2 Logistics ang request nito sa Games and Amusements Board (GAB).

Agad namang tutulak ngayong araw si GAB pro volleyball division head Reginald Capadera para magsagawa ng ocular inspection sa venue.

Sa oras na makumpleto na ang lahat ng requirements partikular na ang health protocols, posibleng mabigyan na ng go signal ang Cargo Movers para simulan ang ensayo.

Sa kabilang banda, nais ng Perlas Spikers na magsagawa ng training camp sa Baguio City.

Tinukoy ng Perlas ang St. Vincent Gym sa Naguillan Road bilang training venue ng tropa.

Nakapagsagawa na ng inspeksiyon ang GAB sa naturang venue gayundin sa magiging accomodation ng lahat ng players, coaches at staff.

Kaya naman nakaabang na ang Perlas Spikers sa magiging desisyon ng GAB para agad na masimulan ang ensayo.

Tiniyak ng Perlas Spikers na susunod ang lahat sa patakarang ipinatutupad sa Baguio City lalo na ang “no leisure walks” sa siyudad.

Gaya ng PBA teams, kailangan ng F2 Logistics at Perlas Spikers na sumailalim sa regular swab testing bago magsimula ang training camp.

National team para sa Vietnam SEA Games pinayagan na ng IATF mag-bubble training

Pinayagan na ng Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) ang bubble training ng mga miyembro ng Team Philippines na sasabak sa 31st Southeast Asian Games sa Hanoi, Vietnam.

Inilabas ng Joint Administrative Order (JAO) No. 2020-0001 on Sports ang supplemental guidelines para sa pag-eensayo ng mga national athletes na lalahok sa 2021 Vietnam SEA Games sa Nobyembre 21-Disyembre 2.

“We would like to thank the government through the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) for approving the JAO guidelines,” wika ni Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) chairman William ‘Butch’ Ramirez na bahagi ng signatory agencies sa JAO kasama ang Games and Amusements Board (GAB) at Department of Health (DOH).

“This will boost the morale of our national team members as they prepare for the 2021 SEA Games,” dagdag pa ng PSC chief.

Nauna nang naturukan ng COVID-19 vaccine na Sinovac ang halos 730 miyembro ng Olympics at SEA Games-bound athletes, coaches at officials matapos isama ng IATF at DOH sa priority list sa vaccination.

Infinite Trailer: Mark Wahlberg Remembers His Past Lives

MARK Wahlberg remembers his multiple past lives in the first trailer for his new action movie Infinite coming to Paramount+ this summer.

Over the last several years, Mark Wahlberg has become a veteran of the action movie genre. He’s starred in real-life-inspired adventures like Deepwater Horizon, joined the Transformers franchise for two installments, and launched new original franchise attempts like Mile 22 and Spenser Confidential.

Wahlberg’s latest effort to show what he can bring to the genre pairs him up with director Antoine Fuqua for Infinite.
Originally set to star Chris Evans, Wahlberg eventually joined Infinite to work with Fuqua in adapting D. Eric Maikranz’s novel The Reincarnationist Papers. The movie features a great cast of action movie veterans ranging from Maze Runner‘s Dylan O’Brien, Doctor Strange‘s Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Kingsman‘s Sophie Cookson. After completing filming in 2019, Paramount Pictures planned to release Infinite in theaters in the summer of 2020 and hopefully see it become a new franchise. These plans changed substantially due to COVID-19.

Now that the release plan for the movie is confirmed, the studio has started its marketing campaign at long last.
Paramount finally released the first trailer for Infinite that offers the first look at Mark Wahlberg’s action movie. The two-and-a-half-minute trailer shows Wahlberg as Evan McCauley and beginning to remember his past lives. Infinite will release exclusively on Paramount+ on June 10, 2021.

The majority of Infinite‘s trailer focuses on the interrogation between Chiwetel Ejiofor’s character and Wahlberg’s McCauley. It isn’t until the end of this moment that McCauley begins to remember his past lives by seeing artifacts that he has history with. However, it appears that Ejiofor is the villain of the movie and that McCauley is rescued by a group of others with memories of their past lives, known as the Infinites.

Possibly the biggest surprise of Infinite‘s trailer is just how little action is actually featured. The jail-break sequence where McCauley escapes from Ejiofor’s character is the biggest set-piece shown. There is sure to be more than a few car chases when it comes to Infinite‘s action, and Wahlberg holding a sword near the end could be a tease of what else the movie might include. Fuqua has plenty of experience directing various types of action scenes and Wahlberg is no stranger to performing them either. Paramount could be waiting to reveal more of the action for a second trailer. (source: screenrant.com)

DENNIS, umaasa na matutuloy pa ang naudlot na project nila ni JOHN LLOYD; ANDREA, fan ng magaling na aktor

MATAGAL na palang gusto ni Kapuso actress Andrea Torres makatrabaho si Dennis Trillo, at inamin niyang fan siya ng Kapuso Dramatic Actor.

Kaya ang saya-saya niya nang i-offer sa kanya ang isa sa tatlong mapapangasawa ni Dennis sa first GMA Cultural Drama series na Legal Wives.

Pero hindi raw biro ang pag-aaral nilang ginawa sa kani-kanilang character, ayon kina Dennis at Andrea nang ma-interview sa ‘Chika Minute’ ng 24 Oras.

“Hangang-hanga ako kay Dennis,” sabi ni Andrea.

“Sa pagbigkas niya ng dialogues bilang isang Mranaw, hindi mo iisipin si Dennis ang kausap mo.”

Inamin naman ni Dennis na talagang sineryoso niya ang kanyang character at kung paano siya aarte bilang isang Mranaw.

Natanong si Andrea tungkol sa possibility na magtambal sila ni John Lloyd Cruz sa isang sitcom na ipu-produce ni Willie Revillame for GMA Network.

“Nagulat ako kasi, isa rin si John Lloyd sa hinahangaan kong actor at sino ba ang aayaw na makasama siya,” sagot ni Andrea.

“Pero as of now, wala pa namang kumakausap sa akin, nabasa ko lamang ang tungkol doon.”

“May isa rin sana kaming project na pagsasamahan ni John Lloyd noon, pero hindi natuloy,” sabi naman ni Dennis.

“Pero open pa rin iyon, hopefully magawa pa rin namin,”

MAY special role palang gagampanan si actor-politiican Alfred Vargas sa upcoming GMA Primetime cultural drama series na Legal Wives.

Pero pumasok pa rin siya sa ilang araw na lock-in taping na requirement sa bawat member ng cast na sumunod sa health protocols.

Gaganap si Alfred sa role ni Nasser Macadato, kapatid ni Ismael, na gagampanan ni Dennis Trillo. Si Nasser din ang unang asawa ni Amirah, played by Kapuso actress Alice Dixson.

As per Alfred’s Instagram post, ang bumubuo ng Macadato Family ay sina Dennis, Alfred, Al Tantay, Bernard Palanca, at si Shayne Sava na anak nina Alfred at Alice.

Kahit ilang araw lamang ang lock-in taping ni Alfred, in-enjoy din niya ito, dahil pag break sila sa eksena, work and play daw sila ng mga co-actors niya na nagba-bike sa loob ng location nila sa isang beach resort sa Laguna.

Ang Legal Wives ay tungkol sa isang kakaibang pamilya kung saan pakakasalan ng isang lalaking Mranaw (Dennis) ang tatlong magkakaibang babae para sa iba’t ibang kadahilanan.

Mukhang maraming matutunan ang mga viewers ng teleserye sa kulturang Mranaw sa direksyon ni Zig Dulay.

SA selebrasyon ng Pride Month ngayong Hunyo, ihahandog ng Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) ang 2nd PelikuLAYA: LGBTQIA+ Film Festival online from June 4 to 30.

May theme ito ng “Sama-Sama, Lahat Rarampa!”, sa taong ito aim ng PelikuLAYA na ma-empower ang members ng LGBTQIA+ community sa pamamagitan ng lineup ng local at international films, film talks and lectures, a drag yoga event, at musical performances.

Simula sa June 4, a total of 23 subscription films can be viewed for only PHP 99 on the FDCP Channel (fdcpchannel.ph), kasama dito ang seven PelikuLAYA titles na available hanggang June 30: “Masahista” by Brillante Mendoza, “I Love You. First ‘Agnes’ Trailer and Photos Teases Classic Exorcism Horror Film

AS the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival ramps up, we’re getting more and more hints at the films featured at the festival, including the upcoming nun horror film Agnes, and will have its world premiere on June 12.

Directed by Mickey Reece, behind indie hits like Climate of the Hunter and T-Rex, Agnes follows a priest-in-waiting and his jaded mentor as they set out to discover if the rumors of demonic possession at a nunnery are true.

The film stars Molly C. Quinn, Jake Horowitz, Sean Gunn, Chris Browning, Ben Hall, Mary Buss, and Chris Sullivan, who make up the cast of nuns and priests in this classic horror tale. Unlike other demonic possession films, Agnes‘ trailer seems to break out from the mold, particularly through Reece’s choice to focus on the mystery of the possession rather than its scary effects.

The combination of the disillusioned priest teaming up with the rookie sees Reece pulling from noir and thriller tropes, as well as including some classic paranormal effects like speaking in tongues and objects flying off shelves.

Regardless of whether or not Agnes does become a standout horror film, exorcism and evil nun films are always super fun and enjoyable. A staple of the horror genre, possession films have decreased in quality over the past few years, although they are breakthroughs in the genre like with The Conjuring series. We’ve also seen the genre switch to television, like Warrior Nun and American Horror Story, and there are plenty of new projects on the way.

Demonic possession and exorcism movies on the way include a reboot of Paranormal Activity, another addition to The Conjuring franchise titled The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, a Rosemary’s Baby modern update called False Positive, another film in production from Sam Raimi called Every House is Haunted, plus a whole bunch of other reboots, remakes, and sequels.

Although it draws from decades of films and hundreds of stories, Agnes can at least boast an original story, which is more than the current state of horror can say. (source: collider.com)

TIMBOG ang anim na hinihinalang sangkot sa illegal na droga kabilang ang isang security guard at 17-anyos na estudyante matapos maaktuhan ng mga pulis na sumisinghot ng shabu sa magkahiwalay na lugar sa Valenzuela City.

Ayon kay PCpl Pamela Joy Catalla, habang nasa loob ng kanilang opisina ang mga operatiba ng Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) dakong alas-11:30 ng gabi nang personal na lumapit ang Supervisor ng Wilcon Gasoline Station at ipinaalam sa kanila na may natagpuan siyang drug paraphernalia sa loob ng security guard barracks sa Wiloil gasoline station sa No. 58 Pio St., Brgy. Marulas.

Pinuntahan ng mga operatiba ng SDEU sa pangunguna ni PLT Joel Madregalejo ang naturang lugar na nagresulta sa pagkakaaresto kay Conrad Alajas, 29, security guard ng nasabing gasoline station matapos maaktuhang sumisinghot ng shabu sa loob ng barracks dakong 1 ng madaling araw.

Narekober kay Alajas ang nasa 2 grams ng hinihinalang shabu na tinatayang nasa P13,600 ang halaga, ilang drug paraphernalias at cellphone.

Nauna rito, alas-6:30 ng gabi nang maaktuhan din ng mga operatiba ng SDEU sina Alvin Cunanan, 31, Edmari Ablang Rebudal, 27, Julius Trazo Entienza, 27, John Rey Tudera, 18, at ang 17-anyos na binatilyong grade 7 student na nagpa-pot-session umano sa loob ng bahay sa No. 4284 Orosco St. Mapulang Lupa sa isinagawang validation matapos ang natanggap na tawag sa telepono mula sa isang concerned citizen hinggil sa nagaganap umanong illegal drug activities sa naturang lugar.

Ani SDEU investigator PSMS Fortunato Candido, nakumpiska sa mga suspek ang nasa 0.5 gramo ng hinihinalang shabu na tinatayang nasa P3,400 ang halaga, at ilang drug paraphernalia.

Mahaharap ang mga naarestong suspek sa kasong paglabag sa RA 9165 o ang Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 habang tinurnover naman sa pangangalaga ng DSWD ang menor-de-edad. (Richard Mesa)

Women’s softball team kauna-unahang koponan na nasa Japan

Nauna ang women’s softball team ng Australia na mga international athletes na dumating sa Japan para sa Olympics.

Dadalo muna sa training camp sa Ota City ang koponan bago lumipat sa Athletes’ Village sa Tokyo sa Hulyo 17.

Lahat aniya ng mga miyembro nito ay naturukan na ng COVID-19 vaccine at sila ay araw-araw na sinusuri kung may virus.

Mananatili sa mga loob ng kanilang hotel ang koponan at lalabas lamang ang mga ito kapag magta-train.

Magsisimula ang mga laro sa Tokyo Olympics sa Hulyo 23.

SA Bataan ang lock-in taping ng bagong sinisimulang serye ng GMA-7, ang To Have and To Hold.

Nakakausap namin ang isa sa mga bida ng serye na si Max Collins at ayon dito, mga hanggang third week of June pa pala sila naka-lock-in.

Dahil sobrang higpit ng safety protocols, gusto sana naming dumalaw at nakaka-miss na talaga ang mag-set-visit at mag-interview na hindi naman online kung hindi tulad ng dati na face-to-face. Pero hindi na kami nag-attempt na magpaalam dahil malamang, imposible.

Unfair rin siyempre sa lahat ng kasama sa lock-in na bago mag-lock-in taping, seven days na naka-quarantine sa hotel at nag-undergo ng PCR test.

Pero maganda sa location nila at isa ito sa spot sa Bataan na masasabing malamig kahit na summer. Bukod pa sa nasa resort sila kaya para rin silang naka-bakasyon kung wala silang taping day. Medyo bundok na ito kaya malayo talaga sa maraming tao.

Sa isang banda, ibang tema at feeling namin, magiging controversial sa mga manonood ang To Have and To Hold. Adultery pa rin ito, pero may bonggang twist.

Mag-asawa ang role nina Max at Rocco Nacino na taong 2012 pa nang huling magkasama sa isang serye. Kasama rin si Carla Abellana sa serye at mukhang ang character niya ang magiging malaking twist sa diumano’y “picture-perfect” na buhay mag-asawa nina Max at Rocco.

Si Max ay halos kakakasal lang din at mag-iisang taon ang anak, pero napapabalitang on the rocks na ang marriage nila ni Pancho Magno.

Si Rocco naman ay nasa honeymoon stage pa lang ng marriage nila ni Melissa Gohing. At si Carla naman, ikakasal pa lang sa boyfriend na si Tom Rodriguez.

Pero mukhang silang tatlo ay pwedeng maka-relate at mapatanong sa totoong marriage nila kung keri ba nila sakali at same twist sa serye nila ang ma-experience nila, huh!

ANG pagiging Christian daw ni Jennica Garcia ay natutunan niya mula sa kanyang ama, ang dating actor na si Jigo Garcia.

Birthday ni Jigo at ng Misis nito. Pero simula nang makipaghiwalay sa Mister na si Alwyn Uytingco, balik showbiz si Jennica kaya wala siya sa birthday ng ama at step-mom.

Pero sa message ni Jennica sa daddy niya at sa misis ng ama, very grateful siya sa mga ito at ipinahayag kung gaano raw niya kamahal.

Masasabing surrounded pa rin talaga siya ng mga taong nagmamahal at sumusuporta sa kanya at dalawang anak, sabihin man na nag-fail ang kanyang marriage life at parang nagsisimula siyang muli ngayon.
