‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’, isa pa rin sa most-watched programs ng ABS-CBN

ISA pa rin ang FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano sa most-watched programs ng ABS-CBN.

Sa survey ng AGB-NIELSEN na ginawa mula April 26 to may 4, nasa number 11 ang programang pinagbibidahan ni Coco Martin.

Karamihan sa mga programa na pasok sa Top 20 shows ay programa ng GMA 7 dahil sila ang subscriber sa AGB-NIELSEN.

The other ABS-CBN show na pumasok sa Top 20 ay ang inspiring drama na Huwag Kang Mangamba na nasa 15^th spot.

Patunay lang ito na matindi pa rin ang following ng serye ni Coco. Kahit na five years na on the air ang FPJAP ay malakas ang viewership nito. Patunay lamang na solid ang fan base ng programa at hindi ito iniiwan.

May tinanong kami kung totoong hanggang July na lang ang FPJAP pero ayon sa aming nakausap wala naman daw advice.

Lagi naman naibabalita sa meda na matatapos na ang action-series ni Coco pero patuloy pa rin itong tinatangkilik ng masang Pilipino.

Marami nga raw ang nakukuryente sa balita na magtatapos na ang FPJAP pero mas lalo pa itong tumatagal.

Gustung-gusto ng mga fans pag maaksyon ang mga eksena sa show. Dito raw mas lumalakas ang viewership ng programa.

Ibig sabihin gusto ng mga fans kapag napapalaban si Coco at ang Task Force Agila.

Kaya most likely ay magtatagal pa rin sa ere ang FPJAP dahil patuloy na mataas ang viewership nito.

Curious kaming mapanood ang movie na dinirek ni Adolf Alix, Jr. ito kasi ang unang movie na gaganap na kontrabida si Ate Guy.

First time for Ate Guy to play a villan’s role kaya excited na kaming mapanood ito.

Tiyak na muling pag-uusaoan ang uri ng acting ni Ate Guy.

X-Men Joins MCU, Charlize Theron Will Suits Up As Mystique

EVERYBODY can’t wait for the X-Men to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe and now we have our first look at what Charlize Theron could look like as Mystique.

Across her illustrious career, of the Oscar winner actress, has taken on many roles; however, there is one role that has long alluded her: a role in a Marvel superhero film.

It’s puzzling how Marvel has never managed to extend an offer in bringing her into the mix within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Perhaps it’s for this reason that whenever there are rumors about a new superhero or group of superheroes coming to the MCU, fans can help but to theorize as to whether the role could finally be the one that opens the door for Theron to enter the MCU.

So needless to say, when Marvel regained the rights to the X-Men in setting the stage for mutants to enter the MCU, all eyes have been on whether Marvel might tap Theron to play one of the franchise’s more iconic heroes and villains.

There are a lot of theories floating around over who she could play including one which suggests Charlize Theron should suit up as the new Mystique. After seeing new concept art of what she could look like as the iconic Marvel villain, we have to admit, we’re fully on board with the dream casting!

Knowing that the X-Men are preparing to make their debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe many artists have been finding inspiration in fan castings including Valentin Romero, who has now given fans the first chance to see what Theron could look like as Mystique in the MCU.

In the jaw-dropping concept art, Romero transforms Theron into Mystique complete with the character’s iconic blue-hued skin and signature red hair in a look that is truly camera-ready! What we love even more is that the artist incorporated Mystique’s more modern look including her well-known costume and even incorporates the skull design often featured on the character’s head in the comics.

Currently, Marvel has not confirmed any X-Men casting news, leaving fans in a stage of uncertainty so it’s unclear if Charlize Theron will join the MCU as Mystique.

Ironically, it seems Theron’s one and only brush with a Marvel project actually came 20 years ago when she was approached about the role of Jean Grey in the original X-Men film franchise.

According to Screenrant, 20th Century Fox hoped to get her to sign on to appear as the iconic leader of the X-Men but Theron would eventually pass.

Theron revealed in an interview with Cinema Blend, Marvel has never directly approached her about a role in the MCU telling the site:

“I swear to God. I’ve never gotten anything. No, I’m not lying to you. But that’s okay. You know what? I am paving my own way. I’m creating my own opportunities. So it’s alright.”

While Theron doesn’t seem to be losing any sleep over the studio not offering her a role, here’s hoping they might right that wrong when looking to bring the X-Men into the MCU as there’s no denying she’d make for an incredible Mystique!

MARIO MAURER, type na dyowain si LIZA at ka-tropa naman si BEA

PAMILYAR na ang Thai Superstar na si Mario Maurer sa bansa dahil nakagawa na siya ng movie.

Kaya sanay na rin ito sa entertainment press at muling humarap sa Zoom launch kahapon ng TNT’s “Kilig Saya” campaign.

Bukod kay Mario, may dalawa pang popular ding Thai actors na sina Nonkul Chanon (Bad Genius) at Gulf Kanawut (TharnType: The Series) ang napiling maging TNT’s newest ambassadors along with Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo and Sue Ramirez.

Nakaaaliw ang tatlong Thai heartthrobs dahil game na game nilang sinagot ang mga tanong ng showbiz press at naki-join pa sa iba’t ibang challenges and games tulad ng Jowa or Tropa.

Sa Jowa or Tropa game, kabilang sa mga Pinoy actresses na ipinakita sa tatlo ay sina Liza Soberano at Bea Alonzo.

Sagot ni Mario about Liza ay “Jowa.” When asked kung na-meet ba niya in person ang aktres noong nandito sya sa Pinas, ayon sa Thai Superstar ay hindi raw. Jowa rin ang sagot ni Gulf habang “tropa” naman si Nonkul.

Nang ipakita ang larawan ni Bea Alonzo, “tropa” ang sagot ni Mario. Nang tanungin ni DJ Chacha kung bakit, sagot ng aktor, “I need a guide to, you know, guide me in the Philippines.”

Tinanong din sila kung ano ang maibibigay nilang love advice kay Bea since kabe-break lang nito sa boyfriend. “I’m sure she’s a strong girl so, I hope she continues to have a good life and be happy,” sabi ni Mario.

Ayon naman kay Nonkul, matagal na raw siyang walang karelasyon kaya wala raw siya sa posisyon na magbigay ng love advice.

Isa pang cute na tanong kay Mario ay kung ano ang suot nito pag natutulog. Ayon sa Thai heartthrob ay boxer shorts. When asked kung na-try na niya na walang suot, yes daw naman pero malamig daw masyado and he can’t handle it.

Sa isang banda, bilang TNT’s newest ambassadors, the trio headlined TNT’s “Kilig Saya” campaign in a 3-minute music video sang by Sarah . The campaign also co-starred with Sue. The commercial was launched via livestream at the first ever ‘TNTCON2021.’

HINDI rin nagpahuli si Kris Bernal noong Mother’s Day at the same time, dahil nga malapit na ang kanyang birthday sa May 17, nagkaroon din ng sariling pa-community pantry si Kris.

Tinawag niya itong “Inay Pantry” dahil ang mga naging beneficiary ay mga nanay during Mother’s Day. Katulong din ni Kris ang kanyang fiancée na bukod sa nag-donate rin ng mga items, taga-buhat din sa mga pinamigay niya.

Mukhang dahil sa hindi magandang pangyayari sa birthday community pantry ni Angel Locsin, na-warn na si Kris at sa halip na pipilahan ang pantry niya, ang ginawa niya ay siya na mismo ang nag-delivery ng mga pinamigay niya sa bahay-bahay.

Bahagi ng post ni Kris sa ginawang Inay Pantry, “This is an initiative together with my friend, Kuya Manny, in celebration of our birthdays. We’ve been busy delivering goods from one point to another but I missed taking videos since I don’t have much time to document it. Plus, I was on my own with no one to assist me or take photos/videos!

“We were able to brighten up and bring smiles through this simple gesture. I actually really wanted to join but I needed to stay behind the scene so we can ensure that things will run smoothly.”

MALABONG ma-impeach si Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte at mapatalsik sa kanyang posisyon dahil lamang sa kanyang polisiya sa West Philippine Sea (WPS).

Pinalagan ni Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque ang alegasyon ni dating Supreme Court Justice Antonio Carpio na ang Pangulo ay nakagawa ng “betrayal of public trust and national interest” dahil sa kanyang posisyon sa maritime conflict.

Para kay Sec. Roque, nagpapapansin lang si Carpio.

Nauna rito, sinabi kasi ni Carpio na ang aksyon ni Pangulong Duterte sa WPS ay maikukunsiderang isang impeachable offense.

“Alam ninyo ang taong bago sa pulitika sasabihin ang lahat para mapansin and this is yet another instance of Justice Carpio saying things just for the attention,” ang pahayag ni Sec. Roque.

“Bakit betrayal of public trust? Mayroon nawala bang teritoryo sa administrasyon ni Pangulo Duterte? Wala. May binigay ba siyang teritoryo sa Tsina? Wala,” aniya pa rin.

Iginiit pa ni Sec. Roque na ang polisiya ng Pangulo sa pagsusulong sa iba pang aspeto ng kooperasyon sa China gaya ng trade and investments na naging dahilan para mabinbin ang resolusyon ng territorial conflict ay hindi impeachable offense.

“Ang totoo niyan it is not just because it is a numbers game, It is because it is utterly bereft of merit because the President is the sole architect, primary architect of foreign policy,” anito.

Kung naniniwala si Carpio na nilabag ng Pangulo ang batas sa kanyang naging posisyon sa West Philippine Sea stance, sinabi ni Sec. Roque na maaaring dalhin ni Carpio ang kasong ito sa Korte Suprema.

Ang impeachment laban sa Pangulo ay “not only the remedy,” lalo pa’t ang kahit na sinumang ordinaryong mamamayan ay maaaring maghain ng reklamo sa Korte Suprema.

NOONG May 11, mag-isa ngang umalis si Megastar Sharon Cuneta papunta sa isang bansa na hindi niya binanggit pero maraming humuhula na ito ay sa Amerika.

Sa Instagram post ni Mega, pinakita niya ang mga photos ng malungkot na nagpapaalam sa kanyang asawang si Sen. Kiko Pangilinan at sa tatlong anak na sina Frankie, Miel at Miguel na kung saan pinabaunan pa siya ng dasal.

Mayor Joy, pabor luwagan ang quarantine restrictions sa NCR Plus

Pabor si Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte na ibaba na sa General Community Quarantine ang NCR Plus pagtapos nang pinaiiral na MECQ hanggang Mayo 14.

Sinabi ni Belmonte na kailangang maibaba na ang quarantine restrictions para mabuksan na ang ilang negosyo sa Metro Manila at mapasigla ang ekonomiya.

Gayunman, sinabi nito na kailangan pa ring higpitan ang pagpapatupad ng safety and health protocols sa lahat ng mga pampublikong lugar, establisimyento at workplaces.

Ikinatwiran ni Belmonte na bumababa na ang COVID-19 cases sa buong NCR Plus sa nakalipas na dalawang linggo mula nang ipatupad ang ECQ noong Abril.

Sa QC, nasa 57% ang naibabang kaso ng COVID-19 habang tumaas na rin ang Occupancy Rate ng mga ospital.

Sa Mayo 14 matatapos ang kasalukuyang Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine sa buong NCR Plus o sa Metro Manila at karatig lalawigan na Bulacan, Cavite, Rizal at Laguna.

FDA, pinagpapaliwanag sa kakulangan ng aksyon sa 600 applications

Pinagpapaliwanag na ng Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) ang Food and Drug Administration (FDA) dahil sa kawalan ng sapat na aksyon sa 600 applications ng pharmaceutical companies.

Sa dalawang pahinang show cause order na may lagda ni Atty. Jedrek Ng, director ng Investigation Enforcement and Litigation Office, binibigyan ng direktiba ang FDA na agad sagutin ang mga alegasyon laban sa kanilang tanggapan.

Kung mabibigo umano ang kawanihan na makapagbigay ng katanggap-tanggap na rason, maaaring maharap ang mga opisyal nito sa administrative at criminal liabilities.

Ayon sa batas, lahat ng proseso at transaksiyon ay dapat pumasok sa prescribed processing time na 3-7-20.

Tatlong araw para sa simpleng proseso, pitong araw para sa mga kumplikado at 20 araw para sa mga proseso na kailangan ng teknikal na pagsusuri.

INAPRUBAHAN ni Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte ng “fourfold increase” ang importasyon ng baboy para idagdag sa kakulangan ng local supply dahil sa African swine fever outbreaks.

Ito’y base sa dokumento na ipinalabas ng Malakanyang.

“Fatal to hogs but not to humans, the ASF has spread to 437 municipalities and reduced the country’s swine inventory by 3 million heads or 24.1 percent from last year to 2021,” ang naging pahayag ni Duterte sa ipinalabas nitong Executive Order 133.

Ang kakulangan ng baboy ngayong taon ay umaabot sa 388,790 metric tons (MT).

Sinabi ng Pangulo na hindi man lamang kumilos ang Kongreso sa kanyang naging kahilingan na taasan ang minimum access volume (MAV) ng karne ng baboy na tumutukoy sa dami ng agricultural product na maaaring angkatin sa mababang taripa.

“It is imperative to immediately address the current supply gap in pork meat, to provide consumers with adequate and affordable food, and to lower inflation,” ayon kay Pangulong Duterte.

Sa kabilang dako, sinabi ni Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque na tinaasan ang Minimum Access Volume o MAV ng karne ng baboy. (Daris Jose)

MAHIGIT 430 NA OPISYAL NG BI SA NAIA, BINALASA

MAHIGIT 430 na mga opisyal ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) ay binalasa at binigyan ng bagong terminal assignment bilang bahagi ng ahensya na maiwasan ang korapsiyon ng kanilang tauhan.

Sinabi ni BI Commissioner Jaime Morente na sa kabuuang 356 na kanilang frontline immigration offices na kasalukuyang naka-assign sa NAIA ay apektado sa ginawang pagbalasa na ipatutupad sa May 12.

Nabatid pa na bukod sa mga BI Officers na nababantay sa Immigration booth, 79 na Immigration officers na nagmamando sa terminal ay binago rin bilang bahagi ng balasa.

“The objective of this rotation scheme is to avoid fraternization in the workplace, which studies have pinpointed as a possible source of corruption in government,” ayon kay Morente

Sinabi ni Atty. Carlos Capulong, BI Port Operations Division (POD) Chief na layon ng nasabing balasa ay upang masiguro na supisyente ang kanilang tauhan upang magsilbi sa kanilang mga biyahero .

“We also want to create a positive work environment by seeing to it that the workload of our immigration officers and their duty supervisors are evenly distributed,” ayon kay Capulong.

Sinabi pa ni Capulong na aprubado ni Morente ang rekomendasyon niyang balasahan ng terminal assignment sa BI-NAIA personnel kada 3 hanggang 4 na buwan.

‘Kailangan natin pagtrabahuan’ – DOH sa posibilidad na luwagan ang quarantine restrictions sa NCR

Iginiit ng Department of Health (DOH) na hindi pa agad dapat luwagan ang mahigpit na quarantine restriction kahit bumaba na ang “reproduction number” ng COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019) sa National Capital Region (NCR).

Ang reproduction number ay ang bilang ng nahahawaan ng isang kumpirmadong kaso ng COVID-19.

Hindi lang naman transmission rate ang ating batayan para makapagsabi tayo if we’re going to de-escalate already dito sa mga community quarantine restrictions na mayroon tayo,” ani Health Usec. Maria Rosario Vergeire.

“Kailangan natin tingnan lahat ng parameters na ginagawa natin.”

Ipinaalala ng opisyal na pinagbabatayan din ng mga opisyal ang “average daily attack rate,” at “2-week growth rate.”

Pati na ang “gatekeeping indicators” ng mga local government units tulad ng contact tracing, isolation, testing, at quarantine.

“Gusto natin kapag nag-lift tayo ng restriction, alam natin kakayanin ng local government sakaling tumaas ang kaso… para tayo may assurance from the national level that local governments can adequately respond.”

Tinitingnan din daw ng DOH ang sitwasyon ng health system para matiyak na hindi umaapaw ang mga pasilidad para sa mga pasyente.

“Kailangan natin pagtrabahuan pa talaga at makita natin na nagwo-work yung patient navigation system in order for us to have continuous decline in the number of being hospitalized.”

Batay sa pinakahuling report ng independent group na OCTA Research, bumaba pa sa 0.66 ang reproduction number ng coronavirus sa Metro Manila.
