Habang umiiwas na siya na pag-usapan: KIM, naiinis na sa patuloy na pagsasalita ni XIAN

TATLONG nominasyon ang nakuha ng premyadong aktres Gladys Reyes sa PMPC 40th Star Awards for Movies.

Nominado si Gladys bilang best aktres, best supporting actress at PMPC Darling of the press.

Matandaang tinanghal na Best Actress si Gladys sa nakaraaang Metro Manila Summer Film Festival mula sa pelikulang “Apag” na kung saan sa naturang pelikula pa rin nominated si Gladys sa 2024 Star Awards for Movies.

Makakalaban ni Gladys ang mga kapwa premyadong aktres na sina Vilma Santos, Nora Aunor, Sharon Cuneta, Maricel Soriano, Ai Ai Delas Alas, Marianne Rivera, Assunta De Rossi, Gina Alajar at Kathryn Bernardo.

Sa Best Supporting actress naman ay nominated pa rin si Gladys dahil sa ipinamalas niyang akting sa pelikulang “Here Comes the Groom”. Makakatunggali naman niya ang dalawang nominado pa rin sa best actress na sina Gina Alajar at Alessandra de Rossi kasama sina Cherrie Pie Piccache, Gloria Diaz, Dolly De Leon at ang gagawaran ng Ulirabg Artista sa taong ito na si Liza Lorena.

Hindi pa rin papakabog si Gladys sa mga co-nominees niya para naman sa PMPC darling of the press.

Makakalaban naman ni Gladys sa nasabing kategoriya sina Sen. Bong Revilla, Piolo Pascual, Gretchen Barretto, Alden Richards, Liza Diño-Seguerra, Rei Tan at si Sen. Robin Padilla.

Nang hingan namin ng reaksiyon sa pamamagitan ng messenger ang asawa ni Christopher Roxas ay napapa wow na lang ang aktres.

Siyemre hindi raw naman siya umaasa na masungkit niya kahit isa man lang sa tatlong nominasyon.

Katwiran ni Gladys magagaling ang mga makakalaban niya, huh!

Anyway kagagaling lang ni Gladys sa series of engagement abroad at ang tatlong nominasyon from Star Awards ang sumalubong sa kanya.

Incidentally, tatlong nominasyon din ang nakuha ni Piolo sa 40th Star Awards for Movies.

Nominated si Piolo sa best actor (Mallari), best supporting aktor (Gomburza) at PMPC Darling of the Press.

IMBIYERNA na ang Kapamilya aktres na si Kim Chiu sa patuloy na pagsasalita ng dating kasintahang si Xian Lim tungkol sa kapwa nila tinuldukan na dating relasyon.

Kung si Kim ay tahimik at nananatiling tikom ang bibig hinggil sa tunay na dahilan ng paghihiwalay nila ni Xian, kabaligtaran naman yun sa aktor at ngayon nga nagdidirek nang ex-boyfriend.

Wala nga namang tigil si Xian sa pagpapa-interview about their past relationship na in every interview sa kanya ay may naging komento siya hinggil dito.

Sa totoo lang naman,

talagang nakikiusap si Kim sa mga nag-iinterbyu sa kanya na huwag nang pag-usapan ang breakup nila ni Xian bilang respeto na lang sa 12 years nilang relationship di ba?

Kaya inaasahan ng aktres na ganun din sana ang magiging komento ng aktor sa mga tanong sa kanya hinggil doon.

“Entering 2024, sabi ko talaga I just want a fresh start, new beginning and I don’t want to dwell sa past,” banggit pa ni Kim sa panayam ng ABS-CBN.

Nangako rin daw siya sa kanyang sarili na hindi na niya babalikan ang past nila ni Xian kung matatanong siya ng press hinggil dito.

“Parang ‘yung post ko nu’ng December sabi ko, this will be the last time na pag-uusapan ko ito. Pero parang ang dami pa rin.

“Parang hindi naman siya mapag-uusapan kung no one’s lighting the fire,” banggit pa rin ni Kim.

“It ended, the journey was beautiful. Ayaw ko nang maging masama ‘yung loob ko,” dagdag pa rin ng magaling na aktres at TV host.

Siyempre dahil sa paulit-ulit na paghahalungkat at hindi rin napigilan ng loyal kapamilyang ajtres ang maging emosyonal.

“Kasi paulit-ulit na lang. Let’s give it a rest and let’s leave respect to each other.” Lahad pa rin ng nag iisang Kim Chiu.

kinumpirma nina Kim at Xian na tinatapos na nila ang 12 years nilang love story.

Kasama ang ilang gay celebrities: KLEA, proud na ma-feature sa ‘pride month issue’ ng isang magazine

NAGHAHANDA na ang Sparkle actors na sina Rayver Cruz, Derrick Monasterio, at Ken Chan para sa GMA Gala 2024 na mangyayari sa July 20.

Collaboration ng stylist na si Ivor Julian at designer na si Ryan Ablaza Uson ang susuotin ng tatlo.

Ayon kay Rayver: “Sabi ko lang sa kanila, na something classic, classy but unique. Favorite ko kasi ‘yung last year, e, so challenge na rin for them kung paano nila mas gaganda pa kaya ako excited.”

Para naman kay Derrick: “Bahala na ‘yung akin stylist d’yan. Gusto niya talaga mag-stand out ako kaya siya ang bahala.”

Para kay Ken: “Gusto ko ‘yung talagang plain ‘yung isusuot ko, walang masyadong nangyayari sa isusuot ko. And gusto kong ma-highlight ‘yung mga jewelries na isusuot ko for that night.”

Sinisigurado naman ng designer na si Ryan Ablaza Uson na dapper ang isusuot ng mga nasabing Kapuso actors.

“Our main goal is to make them look as dapper as they could. We really go on a timeless silhouette of suits.”

Stephen King’s The Long Walk Adaptation Zeroes In On First Cast Members

THE Long Walk adaptation is confirmed for filming in July 2024, with potential leads Copper Hoffman and David Jonsson.

The premise suggests the need for multiple male actors, this Hoffman and Jonsson possibly portraying the main characters.

Hoffman and Jonsson, though not officially confirmed, have promising resumes for their potential roles in The Long Walk.

The adaptation of Stephen King’s The Long Walk is getting close to confirming its first couple of cast members. Set in a distant future, The Long Walk revolves around a deeply exacting, annual walking contest where about 100 teenage boys walk south through Maine and must not drop below four miles per hour, or they will be fatally shot. After languishing in limbo for years, it was finally confirmed that The Long Walk adaptation will happen and filming will begin in July 2024.

Now, with the filming start date of The Long Walk fast approaching, Deadline reports that Copper Hoffman, who recently starred in Ethan Hawke’s Wildcat, and Rye Lane cast member David Jonsson, are both currently in the mix to lead the forthcoming adaptation’s ensemble cast. The roles these two are likely to play is yet to be revealed.

The Long Walk’s premise suggests that this forthcoming adaptation to the big screen will require many male actors and characters to bring to life King’s distant, dystopian world. While no actors have been officially confirmed, Hoffman and Jonsson could be playing Raymond Garraty and Peter McVriees, the two main characters from King’s book. Both actors have a fairly light resume, but their recent and past works suggest that they could be a perfect fit for their respective roles.

Hoffman made his film debut only a few years ago, starring in Paul Anderson’s Oscar-nominated romcom Licorice Pizza. He played Gary Valentine, a teenage actor who develops a relationship with a 25-year-old photographer’s assistant. Hoffman’s performance led to subsequent roles in movies like the aforementioned Wildcat and the upcoming comedy, Old Guy.

Jonsson started his career on the theater stage and eventually made his film debut in 2018, starring in ITV’s detective drama Endeavor. He appeared briefly as a field agent in another British show titled Deep State before signing on to play Dom in Rye Lane and Augustus Lackey in Industry, arguably his most famous role to date. He can also be seen in the upcoming Alien: Romulus. Jonsson and Hoffman have yet to be officially confirmed for The Long Walk, but if they are, it’ll be interesting to see how they both tackle their respective roles. (Source: deadline.com)
