Isinusulong ng mambabatas ang exemption sa pagbabayad ng buwis ng micro and small businesses

ISINUSULONG ng isang mambabatas na di na pagbayarin ng buwis ang mga micro and small businesses bilang kabayaran sa kanilang kontribusyon sa pagpapalago ng ekonomiya, pagbibigay ng trabaho at sumusustento sa lokal ng komunidad.

Sa inihaing panukala ni Marikina Rep. Marcelino “Marcy” R. Teodoro, nais nito i-exempt ang mga micro and small businesses na organisado bilang korporasyon sa pagbabayad ng Minimum Corporate Income Tax (MCIT).

Nais ni Teodoro na amendahan ang Section 27 ng National Internal Revenue Code na pinagbabayad ang mga micro and small businesses ng 2% MCIT.

“Micro and small enterprises are the backbone of our economy. They create jobs, fuel innovation, and keep local communities thriving. At a time when many are still recovering from economic challenges, government must ensure that our tax policies help businesses grow instead of placing additional burdens on them,” sabi ni Teodoro.

Ayon kay Teodoro, ang tax exemption ay nagbibigay ng oportunidad sa mga micro at small businesses sa makabawi sa gitna ng economic crisis.

“Our small businesses have shown remarkable determination despite numerous economic challenges. They deserve policies that recognize their contribution and provide them with every opportunity to succeed. This measure is an investment in Filipino entrepreneurs, Filipino workers, and the long-term growth of our economy,” sabi ni Teodoro. (VINA de GUZMAN)
