DBM, magpapalabas ng guidelines para sa mas mataas na MUP base pay, subsistence allowance

NAKATAKDANG magpalabas ang Department of Budget and Management (DBM) ng guidelines para sa agarang implementasyon ng adjustments sa sahod at subsistence allowance ng lahat ng military and uniformed personnel (MUP).

“We commend President Bongbong Marcos for approving the increase in salary and subsistence allowance for our military and uniformed personnel, who dedicate their lives to safeguarding the nation,” ayon kay DBM Acting Secretary Rolando Toledo sa isang kalatas.
“Rest assured that the DBM shall exert all efforts to support the EO’s immediate implementation which is set to take effect beginning January 1, 2026,” aniya pa rin.
Sa ilalim ng Executive Order (EO) 107, tinintahan ni Pangulong Marcos noong Dec. 3, ang updated base pay schedule ng lahat ng MUP ay ipatutupad sa tatlong tranches, simula Jan. 1, 2026.
Ang second tranche ay magiging epektibo sa Jan. 1, 2027 habang ang third tranche naman ay sa Jan. 1, 2028.
Saklaw naman ng EO 107 ang lahat ng empleyado sa ilalim ng Department of National Defense, Department of the Interior and Local Government, Philippine Coast Guard, Bureau of Corrections at National Mapping and Resource Information Authority.
Samantala, itataas din ang daily subsistence allowance ng lahat ng uniformed personnel sa P350 mula sa kasalukuyang P150, epektibo Jan. 1, 2026.
Ang subsistence allowance ng lahat ng military personnel ay itinaas na sa P350 ngayong taon, kasunod ng pagpapalabas ng EO 84 noong March 14.
Ang pondong kakailanganjn para sa implementasyon ng pagtaas sa base pay at subsistence allowance ay huhugutin mula sa available appropriations sa ilalim ng 2026 General Appropriations Act at iba pang available appropriations, “subject to budgeting, accounting, and auditing rules.”
Lumikha naman ang EO 107 ng Isang Inter-Agency Technical Working Group (IATWG) na magsasagawa ng Isang komprehensibong pagrerebisa ng MUP Pension System.
Samantala, ang lATWG ay binubuo ng mga kinatawan mula sa DBM, Department of Finance, Bureau of the Treasury at Government Service Insurance System.
