Sa isang press conference…Dating Senador Antonio “Sonny” Trillanes, ilalahad sa publiko ang dapat na ilalabas niya sa impeachment trial

MAGSASAGAWA ng press conference si dating Senador Antonio “Sonny” Trillanes IV ngayong Biyernes upang ilahad sa publiko ang dapat na ilalabas niya sa impeachment trial.

Sa kanyang Facebook post, sinabi nito na siya mismo ang humiling kay House prosecution Chair Jinky Luistro na pormal na i-withdraw ang kanyang pangalan bilang saksi ng prosekusyon sa impeachment trial ni Vice President Sara Duterte.

Ayon sa dating senador, ito ay upang maibsan din umano ang pressure na kinakaharap ng prosekusyon.

“Earlier in the day, I requested the House prosecution under Chair Jinky Luistro to formally withdraw my name as a witness for the prosecution. This way, the prosecution panel would be relieved from the pressure it is going through. Having said that, magco-conduct ako ng press con bukas para ipresenta lahat ng ilalabas ko dapat sa impeachment trial.” pahayag ni Trillanes sa kanyang Facebook post.

Nauna dito, inihayag ni House lead prosecutor Gerville Luistro (Batangas) ang manifestation sa ika-32 araw ng impeachment trial na hindi na hindi na ipiprisinta bilang saksi sa impeachment trial ni VP Sara si Trillanes.

“The prosecution has finally decided not to present former senator Sonny Trillanes. We seek the kind indulgence of the honorable impeachment court for the belated final position on this particular concern,” ani Luistro.
