Bank, insurance records witnesses sa VP Sara trial

PINA-SUBPOENA na ng prosekusyon para tumestigo sa susunod na linggo ang mga representante ng bangko at insurance companies sa impeachment trial ni Vice President Sara Z. Duterte.

“I believe, Your Honor, that’s for the representatives of banks and insurance companies for next week, Your Honor,” pahayag ni House lead prosecutor Batangas Rep. Gerville “Jinky Bitrics” Luistro  

sa Senate impeachment court matapos buksan ni Presiding Officer Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero ang request ng prosekusyon.

Ang hakbang ay kasunod nang pagsusumite ng 10 bangko ng mga financial records bilang tugon sa subpoena na inisyu ng impeachment court. 

Ang records ay magsisilbing bahagi ng ebidensiya ng prosekusyon ukol kina Duterte, kanyang asawang Manases Carpio, at sa kumpanyang iniuugnay sa kanila.

Sinabi naman ni House prosecutor Bicol Saro Party-list Rep. Terry Ridon na maaaring ipatawag ng prosecutors ang mga 

bank officials kung tatanggi ang depensa na magpasok ng stipulations sa records.

“We are deciding kung we will ask for stipulations. But in the event that we do not, or they will reject stipulations, then we will have to present the bank records piece by piece, bank by bank,” ani Ridon.

“But I think with a focus on the most important accounts and the most important banks. So that is how we will do it,” dagdag nito.
