HIGIT 3K RESIDENTE, NAKINABANG SA PEOPLE’S CARAVAN SA PAGADIAN

MATAGUMPAY na isinagawa ng National Housing Authority (NHA) ang ika-51 People’s Caravan nito na napakinabangan ng higit sa 3,000 residente ng Pagadian City.

Sa ilalim ng patnubay ni NHA General Manager Joeben A. Tai, pinangunahan nina Region IX Manager Engr. Al-Khwarizmi U. Indanan at Zamboanga del Sur/Zamboanga del Norte/BARMM A District Manager Engr. Jessa M. Consuegra ang inisyatiba sa Asenso Covered Court, Plaza Luz, noong Agosto 20, 2026.

Sa pagkatawan kay GM Tai, binigyang-diin ni RM Indanan ang layunin ng aktibidad na mailapit ang mga mahahalagang programa at serbisyo sa mga resettlement site ng ahensya, upang maghatid ng kaginhawaan sa mga benepisyaryo. 

Kabilang sa mga pangunahing serbisyong inalok ay ang mga oryentasyon sa pagnenegosyo, job fair na may 68 posibleng job vacancies, oportunidad sa trabaho, at pagpapahusay ng teknikal na kasanayan mula sa Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Provincial Office, Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Pagadian, at Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).

Ang Department of Agriculture at ang mga attached agencies nito – Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (AMAD) at Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI) – ay nagbigay ng iba’t ibang serbisyo tulad ng KADIWA on Wheels at pagbibigay ng mga buto/punla.

Mga serbisyong medikal, pagbibigay ng mga gamot at libreng gupit, at libreng family planning at oryentasyon sa adolescent health ang handog ng Philippine Red Cross Zamboanga del Sur – Pagadian City Chapter, City Health Office, Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) – 53rd IB, 1st Infantry (TABAK) Division, Provincial Department of Health Office (PDOHO), Philippine Pharmacists’ Association Zamboanga del Sur – Pagadian City Chapter, at Commission on Population and Development (CPD).

Naghandog din ng serbisyo ukol sa civil registration at iba pang valid identification cards ang Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Philippine National Police (PNP) – Pagadian City, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Land Transportation Office (LTO), PhilHealth, Social Security System (SSS), Pag-IBIG Fund, at ang City Social Welfare Development Office (CSWDO).

Narito pa ang ilang serbisyong inalok sa caravan: pagbibigay ng mga halamang ornamental, mga punla, at aplikasyon para sa titulo ng lupa mula sa Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR); Sustainable Livelihood Program at iba pang kaugnay na inisyatiba mula sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD); libreng Wi-Fi connectivity at tulong sa e-GovPH mula sa Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT); libreng legal na konsultasyon at on-the-spot na notarial service mula sa Public Attorney’s Office (PAO); at, financial literacy orientation at iba pang serbisyo mula sa Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) at GCash.

Simula ng inilunsad noong Setyembre 2023, ang NHA People’s Caravan ay nagkaroon ng malaking epekto sa pagbuo ng mga sustenableng komunidad sa iba’t ibang lungsod at munisipalidad sa buong bansa, na mas nagpapalakas sa bisyon ng isang Bagong Pilipinas. (PAUL JOHN REYES)
