Para sa 1st parliamentary polls…PBBM, idineklara ang Sept. 14 bilang special non-working day sa BARMM

IDINEKLARA ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang Setyembre 14, 2026 bilang special non-working day sa Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) para payagan ang mga residente na magpartisipa sa 'first regular parliamentary elections' ng rehiyon.
“In order to give the people of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao the opportunity to actively and fully participate in the election and exercise their right to vote, it is but fitting and proper to declare Monday, 14 September 2026, as a special (non-working) day,” ang nakasaad sa Proclamation No. 1395 na inisyu ni Pangullong Marcos.
Ang kauna-unahang BARMM parliamentary elections ay muling itinakda sa Setyembre 14, 2026, sa ilalim ng Republic Act No. 12317, inamiyendahan ang Bangsamoro Organic Law.
Samantala, ang proklamasyon ay nilagdaan nito lamang Agosto 18 ni Acting Executive Secretary Ralph Recto na may pahintulot ni Pangulong President Marcos.
