15 kahon ng confidential fund records, dala ng prosekusyon sa VP Sara impeachment trial

NASA 15 kahon ng mga documentary evidence kaugnay sa confidential fund records ang dinala ng House prosecution panel sa impeachment trial ni Vice President Sara Z. Duterte sa Senate impeachment court.

Bago nagsimula ang direct examination ng prosecution witness mula sa Commission on Audit (COA), inilahad ni private prosecutor Lorna Kapunan ang laki o volume ng ebidensiya na ipiprisinta.

“Lastly, Your Honors, please, as you can see in front of you, we have 15 boxes, 15 boxes of confidential fund [records],” pahayag ni Kapunan sa korte.

Ayon sa abogada, nakapaloob sa records ang liquidation documents na isinumite ng Office of the Vice President (OVP) at Department of Education (DepEd) sa COA bilang suporta sa liquidation ng kanilang confidential funds.

Sakop ng dokumento ang P500 million na OVP confidential funds sa ika-apat na bahagi ng taong 2022 at unang tatllong bahagi ng 2023, at P112.5 million na DepEd confidential funds para sa unang tatlong quarters ng 2023.

Sinabi pa ni Kapunan na tutukuyin ni dating COA Intelligence and Confidential Funds Audit Office (ICFAO) state auditor Roderick Wamil ang nasa 50 exhibits.

“The acknowledgment receipts alone for the fourth quarter of the Office of the Vice President will be 845 documents, Your Honor,” ani Kapunan.

Tutukuyin naman ng susunod na saksi ng prosekusyon ang nasa 3,664 dokumento kung saan 3,617 dito ay acknowledgment receipts.(VINA de GUZMAN)
