Dating chief of staff Zuleika Lopez ni VP Sara, ipatatawag sa susunod na linggo

IPATATAWAG ng House prosecution sa susunod na linggo ang dating chief of staff ni V P Sara Duterte na si Zuleika Lopez para umupo sa witness stand ng Senate impeachment court ang dating chief of staff ni Vice President Sara Z. Duterte na si Atty. Zuleika Lopez.

Ang schedule ay nakumpirma nitong Miyerkules matapos linawin ni House prosecutor Iloilo 3rd District Rep. Lorenz Defensor ang lineup ng mga saksi para sa susunod na linggo.

Si Lopez ay tetestigo pagkatapos ni Atty. Jeremy Lotoc, regional director ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) sa Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, kapag nagbukas muli ang trial sa susunod na Lunes, Hulyo 13.

“For Monday, Your Honors, we will be presenting Atty. Jeremy Lotoc. For Wednesday, we will be presenting Atty. Zuleika Lopez. And for Wednesday, our third witness, we will be presenting Capt. Belinda Bello,” ani Defensor.

Sinabi rin ni Defensor na hindi na kasama si NBI Director Melvin Matibag sa lineup sa susunod na linggo.

“Not yet, Your Honor. We will manifest on Monday if we can consider him for the Wednesday session depending on how the trial goes or how long the testimonies will take for both parties,” pahayag nito.

Matapos ang manifestation ng prosekusyon, inatasan ni Senador Chiz Escudero ang pagpapalabas ng subpoena sa mga saksi para sa July 13-15 trial dates.

Sinabi ng prosekusyon na plano nitong gamitin ang lahat ng nakalaang 11 trial days para sa presentasyon ng ebidensiya para sa fourth impeachment article, na nag-aakusa kay VP Duterte ng culpable violation of the Constitution and betrayal of public trust sa alegasyon ng pagbabanta umano kina President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, at dating Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez.

Inaasahan din tatapusin sa susunod na linggo ang testimonya ni NBI Senior Agent John Mark Calilung, na nagbigay testimonya para sa kaso sa ilalim ng Article IV.

Inihayag ni Calilung ang authenticated video at transcript ng Nov. 23, 2024 livestream, screenshots mula sa recording ni duterte, at official statements na inisyu ng government agencies bilang tugon sa kanyang mga pahayag.

Ipinaliwanag din nito ang digital forensic procedures ng NBI para sa ‘identifying, collecting, preserving and verifying electronic evidence.’

Inaasahan na tetestigo si Lotoc sa findings ng NBI sa pahayag ni Duterte na pagkuha ng assassin para patayin ang Presidente, First Lady at dating Speaker kung namatay ito.

Ipahahayag naman kay Lopez ang mga naging kaganapan sa kanyang detention ng House Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability at sa Nov. 23, 2024 livestream ng VP na magsisilbing bahagi ng ebidensiya ng prosekusyon sa ilalim ng Article IV.

Inaasahang haharap din si Bello, executive director ng House of Representatives Legislative Security Bureau, at tatalakayin ang ipinatupad na kautusan ng komite bago inilipat si Lopez sa Correctional Institution for Women sa Mandaluyong.
