Suporta sa Bayan Desk (SBD), higit 3,592 requests at nakapagpalabas ng P171,498,700 tulong ang Kamara

SA loob lamang ng 50 araw matapos buksan ang pinto sa mga nangangailangang Pinoy, ang Suporta sa Bayan Desk (SBD), naaprubahan ng Kamara ang 3,592 requests at pagpapalabas ng P171,498,700 tulong.

Base sa SBD accomplishment report mula Marso 18 hanggang Hunyo 22, 2026, naipropseso ng SBD ang nasa total na 3,738 requests – 3,103 na walk-in constituents at 635 endorsed ng mga mambabatas na may 3,592 o 96% approval.

Sa naturang mga panahon, nakapagsilbi ang SBD ng average na 72 kliyente kada araw, na may naaprubahang pondo na nasa P175,814,200, kung saan nasa P171,498,700 ang nai-release sa mga recipients.

Sinabi ni Speaker Faustino “Bojie” G. Dy III na “every single one of those 3,592 approvals is a Filipino family that didn’t have to go home empty-handed, patients who can now afford their medicines, their dialysis, their operation. Kapag may lumalapit sa gobyerno na nangangailangan ng tulong, hindi dapat sila pinapahirapan. Ang gusto natin ay mas mabilis, mas maayos, at mas makataong serbisyo. Ito ang layunin ng Suporta sa Bayan Desk.”

“When we established the Suporta sa Bayan Desk, we said this House would be a House of the People — ‘Alagang Kongreso’ — and in 50 days, PHP 171 million in real help was delivered to many of our kababayan who are in need. That is what public service looks like,” dagdag nito.

Inilunsad nitong Marso 17, 2026 at sinimulan ang operasyon ng Marso 18 sa ilalim ng liderato nina Speaker Dy at Majority Leader Ferdinand Alexander “Sandro” A. Marcos, ang SBD ay nagsisilbing one-stop facilitation center.

Tinutulungan nito ang mga aplikante na makumpleto ang mga documentary requirements bago mai-endorso ang kanilang requests sa mga partner agencies tulad ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) at Department of Health (DOH).

Pinapurihan naman ni Majority Leader Marcos ang 96% approval rate nito na isang patunay na maaaring magsilbing frontline partner ang kamara sa social services.

“A 96-percent approval rate is not just a statistic — it is a guarantee that when someone who needs help enters the doors of SBD, they leave with a fighting chance. The achievement of SBD in its first 50 days of operation underscores the solid commitment of the House of Representatives to making government aid faster, more compassionate, and more accessible to our people,” dagdag nito.

Sa unang buwan ng operasyon nitong Marso, nakapagsilbi ang SBD sa may 507 kliyente; 1,138 noong April; 1,008 noong Mayo; at 939 sa unang 22 araw ng Hunyo.

Malaking bahagi ng approved requests na nasa 2,376 ay naproseso sa pamamagitan ng Department of Health (DOH), habang ang natitirang 1,216 ay nailapit naman sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). (Vina de Guzman)
