Sa House Committee on Justice… VP Sara, nakitaan ng dalawang ‘probable cause findings para i-impeach

NAKITAAN ng House Committee on Justice ng probable cause para i-impeach si Vice President Sara Z. Duterte sa dalawang reklamo.
Sa magkahiwalay na botohan, inaprubahan ng komite ang ikatlo o Saballa complaint at ang ika-apat na Cabrera complaint, na kapwa nakakuha ng botong 53 ng walang objection.
“The chair pronounces that the existence of probable cause has been declared with respect to both the Saballa complaint and the Cabrera complaint,” deklara ni committee chair Batangas Rep. Gerville “Jinky Bitrics” Luistro.
Ang dalawang mosyon para idetermina ang probable cause ay isinulong ni Pinoy Workers Party-list Rep. Franz Vincent Legazpi, na nagsabing sapat na ang reklamo.
Pagkatapos ng botohan, isinulong ni Mamamayang Liberal Party-list Rep. Leila De Lima na pag-isahin na lamang ang dalawang reklamo na inaprubahan ng komite ng walang humadlang .
Inatasan ni Luistro ang komite na iprepara at isumite ang report at articles of impeachment.
“We direct the committee to prepare the committee report along with the resolution and the articles of impeachment. We further direct the committee to transmit the same to the complainant, the respondent vice president, and the justice members.”
Itinakda naman ni Luistro ang pagpapatuloy ng pagdinig sa Mayo 4, 2026 ng alas-10 ng umaga. (Vina de Guzman)
