Creative economy ng Pinas, lumago ng P1.94T noong 2024, tumaas ng 8.7%

Posted on: March 26th, 2025 by @peoplesbalita No Comments

Audio at audiovisual media activities

Digital interactive goods at service activities

Advertising, research and development, at iba pang artistic service activities

Symbols and images at iba pang kaugnay na aktibidad

Media publishing at printing activities

Music, arts at entertainment activities

Visual arts activities

Traditional cultural expression activities

Art galleries, museums, ballrooms, conventions and trade shows, at kaugnay na aktibidad

“Among these creative industries, symbols and images and other related activities accounted for the largest share at 33%, or P640.29 billion, of the total creative economy in 2024,” ang sinabi ng PSA.

“The share of employment in creative industries to the total employment in the country was 15.4% in 2024,” ang sinabi ng PSA.

“Since the methodology is still being refined, the results are considered preliminary. The PSA intends to institutionalize the compilation of the Philippine Creative Economy Satellite Account subject to the approval of the PSA Board and provision of budgetary support from the national government,” ang sinabi ng PSA.

Posted on: March 26th, 2025 by @peoplesbalita No Comments

Posted on: March 26th, 2025 by @peoplesbalita No Comments
“Politics was actually a dream once upon a time. Pero hindi ko tinuloy because I didn’t find the urge. Many are still inviting me to run.
“But politics is very sensitive.
Dagdag pa ng ama ni KC Concepcion na hindi niya kailan man naranasan ang tinatawag na mid-life crisis, “I want to experience that because I don’t know what that feels. Somebody needs to explain to me what mid-life crisis is in a nutshell. I take things lightly.
“I always remember what my father told me, ‘Nandiyan ka na lang din, galingan mo na.’ I am not always successful but I try.”
“Anything can happen to me. I can talk about all the good things about health but there is always something that can happen, life is short. We need to do the best while we have the time. We don’t have to regret one day and tell ourselves, ‘I should have done this.’
“And if you will love somebody, loving is a part of life. We need to feel that. If something happens, that’s all part of the cycle. You have to enjoy the moment. Be happy, always be happy,” seryosong pagkukuwento pa ni Gabby.

SPEAKING of politics, puring-puri naman kami sa 3rd nominee ng A-Teachers partylist na soon to be congresswoman na si Virginia (Virgie) Rodriguez.
Maam Virgie started out as a news reporter until becoming a philantropist who has several advocacies.

Eraserheads’ Concert and New Song, announces at the end credits of ‘Combo on the Run’

Posted on: March 26th, 2025 by @peoplesbalita No Comments

The world-renowned Filipino rock band, Eraserheads are together again, this time on big screen with the long-awaited documentary film, titled Eraserheads: Combo On The Run, that chronicles the staging of their 2022 Huling El Bimbo reunion concert in Manila.

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Maria Diane Ventura, Eraserheads: Combo On The Runis premiered in Philippine cinemas for one weekend only, (last March 21 to March 23, 2025 with over 150 screenings nationwide).

The film offered an accurate and deepest look at the relationship between members Ely Buendia, Raymund Marasigan, Marcus Adoro, and Buddy Zabala, as they come together to provide reprieve to an entire nation during a time of political divisions and uncertainties while, perhaps unknowingly, embarking on a journey of healing themselves.

According to Ventura in her interview, the film is “much more than a portrayal of a band’s breakup and the proverbial clash of egos,” but an important piece of work that captures the band’s unflinching honesty and untold story behind the curtains.

“This is a comprehensive deconstruction of the band’s mythology, humanity, complex relationship, and the lasting mark they left on Filipino culture — one that transcends generations and differences.

“Each interview revealed new layers and complexities, which found us constantly reframing to deepen the narrative. This would probably be my first and last documentary. An exception only for the Eraserheads, who I owe my career trajectory to and who, objectively, I think is the greatest Philippine artist, with Ely as the best songwriter of all time. This was my way of thanking them by upholding their legacy.”

Eraserheads: Combo On The Run is slated as the first Philippine documentary to be screened in Dolby Atmos, a cutting-edge audio technology known for its most immersive sound experience.

Fans who have stayed until the end credits of the docu-film were treated to an electrifying surprise, the announcement of an upcoming concert aptly titled ERASERHEADS: ELECTRIC FUN MUSIC FESTIVAL, the outdoor event will take place at SMDC Festival Grounds in Pasay City on May 31, 2025.

In a talkback panel after a special advanced screening of the documentary ‘Eraserheads: Combo on the Run,’ the 54-year-old musician and frontman of the band revealed, “By this time I think, tama na yung reunion-reunion na yan, wala nang huling-huling el bimbo, we’re here to stay…Until we decide to break up again, that is.” ⁣

Details will soon be release, but early bird tickets will go on sale exclusively via PalawanPay starting March 29, 2025.

The band also teased a brand-new song in the end credits. If confirmed, this would mark the Eraserheads’ first new material in over a decade, following 2014’s “Sabado” and “1995,” which were later reissued on limited-edition vinyl with exclusive remixes in 2021.

Eraserheads: Combo On The Run is brought to you by Dvent Pictures and WEU and distributed by Warner Bros, and we hope that there will be another weekend for those who missed this amazing and much watch docu-film.

Posted on: March 26th, 2025 by @peoplesbalita No Comments
“Gusto pa niya eh, sabi niya, Please one more, one more.
“Sabi ni Dong, kung ano ‘yung nasa puso mo, hindi kita pipilitin but if you will ask me, I want one more.

Posted on: March 26th, 2025 by @peoplesbalita No Comments
Sabi niya, “I think as much as it has been intimidating at first especially when I haven’t seen them… but as soon as I met them, they’re so welcoming, they’re so… they’re nothing but such big sisters.
“They’re like, ‘Whatever you need, whatever you like, do you need a mirror? Do you need a touch-up?’
“They’re always there, and I think when I look at it from an outside perspective, not as a beauty queen with them, I’m in the competition for a reason, and I have a lot to prove.
“I think all of us have the same chance to win, it’s one out of 69, and if that could be me, I’ll pursue that role.”
“I think that’s what makes it more powerful as a woman because like I mentioned before, we’re not just who we are now, like I’m not just a 25-year-old laboratory medical scientist,”, sagot niya.
“Being a woman is evolving into being a mother, to being a good partner, into having… like Miss Quirino before, she had three kids, and she still really did her role well.
“Our age, marital status does not stop us to pursue our dreams, and you can see this with the 68 other delegates as well.”
“I’ve always been the kind of person who plans five years ahead, so when I went to university, it was okay, laboratory scientist, and then maybe medicine after.
“But now that I have this new world that opened up, I’m really open to anything.
“And if I were to go into showbiz and have my first male lead, I’m gonna be honest, I haven’t really been looking at men the same way as now that I have a partner, because they’re all just like, okay, here’s a man, cool.
Like there’s no one…no one’s more guwapo, no one’s nicer, no one’s more lovable as my partner,” at tumawa si Bianca na may Australian boyfriend sa kasalukuyan, “so I can’t answer that question. Sorry.”
Twenty-five years old si Bianca mula sa Maddela, Quirino at nag-aral sa Dominican School at UST Junior and Senior High School under STEM strand.

Posted on: March 26th, 2025 by @peoplesbalita No Comments
Say ni Kris, “The doctor I loved left me because he wanted the freedom to travel, to break free from needing to care for & the reality of KRIS AQUINO who had multiplying autoimmune diseases with so few treatment options. Enough time has passed: he did not love me.
“The TRUTH, in his words ‘INIWAN KITA DAHIL MAHIRAP KANG MAHALIN, sobrang sikip ng paligid’- my prayer is that he will now STOP trash talking & cursing my best friends and doctors who are still doing all they can to improve my quality of life, proving everyday genuine love, compassion & loyalty,” rebelasyon pa niya sa original IG post.
“The truth is simple yes, my father and Mama Kris separated because the spark between them was gone. However, that does not mean my father never loved her. He truly did.
“Their relationship was real, and he cared deeply for her. But love alone is not always enough to make a relationship last forever. Sometimes, two people are simply not meant to be together in the long run, no matter how much they once loved each other,” paliwanag niya.
“My respect for Mama Kris remains immense because my father truly loved her. It may hurt to admit that my siblings and I sometimes felt neglected by our father, but we understand-Mama Kris needed him, and we respected that.
“All we ask is that she does not spread stories that are untrue. My father’s friends and patients know who he truly is, and they can attest to his character.
“We love you, Mama Kris, and we love our father as well. Family is family. That is why I am here-to support my father and stand by my family,” bahagi pa ng mahabang pahayag ni Miguel.
Post ni Kris noong panahong magkasama sila ng ex-dyowa, “I DID FEEL SAFE.”
“I don’t regret loving you completely. Sanay akong mabigo.”

Navotas convention center, pinasinayaan

Posted on: March 26th, 2025 by people's balita No Comments
