VP Sara sinabing ‘never again’ makikipag-tandem kay PBBM, sinabing ‘di sila magkaibigan

Posted on: September 20th, 2024 by @peoplesbalita No Comments

Posted on: September 20th, 2024 by @peoplesbalita No Comments

Rolando Valeriano dahil may nakitang kamalian.

Valeriano.

Inakala na magkakalalaki na sila: Second baby nina VIN at SOPHIE, babae uli

Posted on: September 20th, 2024 by @peoplesbalita No Comments

“We’re so, so, so, so, sure we will have a boy,” sey ni Sophie.

Sey ni Vin: “Oo sobra. Kasi ang daming signs, ‘di ba? Alam ko kasi ang pregnancy mo kay Ava, our first. Sabi nila, ‘Ganito kabilog, bilog ang tiyan. Tapos hindi bumababa. Kapag hindi bumababa that’s a girl.’

“First trimester, this is definitely better kasi I was really in hell with Ava’s first trimester. This one at least kahit papaano but I still felt a little bit. My morning sickness is still all day. Now that I’m in my third trimester, parang mas napi-feel ko ‘yung aches and pains in my body. But I don’t know if I’m also much older now.”

Hindi raw ito basta lang form of gender expression but more of an art form.

Drag is a form of artistic expression and not gender expression.

This is an art form na gusto kong ipakita sa ngayon and then, mamaya, magtatanggal na ako ng make up, tutulog na ako ulit bilang lalaki. ‘Yun talaga siya,” sey ni Eva.

May mga straight men and women na nagda-drag din.

“Nagkataon lang na ‘yun ‘yung satire about it, e, it pokes on gender constructs. Kumbaga, it’s a gender-bending art form, it’s just a play on gender. Whether may mga cis-born female, they dress up as males, they call themselves drag kings. Then, merong mga cis-male like myself who dress up as females, we are drag queens, meron ding mga non-binary.

“In simple terms, ang lagi kong sinasabi, drag, we sell a fantasy.

Sa preliminary court hearing last month, Cardello-Smith testified that Diddy offered him $2.3 million to dismiss the case, pero di niya ito tinanggap.

To settle the $100 million, inutusan ng Lenawee County Circuit judge si Diddy to pay $10 million a month starting in October.

Cardello-Smith is currently an inmate serving time at Earnest C. Brooks Correctional Facility in Michigan for an unrelated charge.

Nasa market na ang Beverly Hills mansion ni Diddy for $61.5 million six months after na ma-raid ito ng federal officers for sex trafficking.

Posted on: September 20th, 2024 by @peoplesbalita No Comments

So, yon po yung naging criteria namin.

“I take responsibility for it dahil ako po ang nag-approve.

GET READY TO SEE A MORE SERIOUS AND DARKER SIDE OF CRIME IN “I, THE EXECUTIONER,” THE NO. 1 MOVIE IN KOREA

Posted on: September 20th, 2024 by @peoplesbalita No Comments

“VETERAN,” hailed for redefining Korean detective action in 2015, returns this year with “I, the Executioner.”

The sequel follows veteran detective Seo Do-cheol (played once again by Hwang Jung-min) and his unwavering team, now joined by rookie officer Park Sun-woo (played by Jung Hae-in), as they pursue a serial killer whose actions have plunged the nation into turmoil.

“I, the Executioner,” currently the No. 1 movie in Korea, having surpassed four million admissions only six days after its opening in cinemas on September 13, promises to deliver even more thrilling action. Director Ryoo Seung-wan, who also directed “Veteran,” shares, “My affection for the character Seo Do-cheol has grown over time, and I always wanted to create a continuation of his story.”

Watch the trailer: https://youtu.be/zZuGu6rE0_w

Director Ryoo is not the only one who has wanted to continue the detective’s story. Actor Hwang Jung-min, who won the Best Actor Award at this year’s Baeksang Arts Awards for “12.12: The Day,” expressed his delight at returning to the role of Detective Seo Do-cheol, saying, “I have sincerely wanted a sequel since we filmed ‘Veteran’ and have been waiting for a long time. Even though it’s been nine years, I hope that audiences would feel that Seo Do-chul hasn’t changed. I wanted to maintain the energy from the first film as much as possible.”

A key highlight of “I, the Executioner” is the introduction of rookie detective Park Sun-woo, played by Jung Hae-in, who joins the team under Seo Do-cheol’s watchful eye. Park Sun-woo is a compelling character who was inspired to become a police officer after witnessing Seo Do-cheol apprehend criminals. Says Jung, “In a way, the film contains a lot of realistic stories. I think it’s a movie that allows us to think about various things,” highlighting the film’s reflection of contemporary issues.

The sequel delves into the realm of dopamine-inducing video shorts and fake news, igniting a narrative that questions the authenticity of the overwhelming content inundating our screens. Director Ryoo’s exploration of a society where information is filtered through algorithms resonates deeply with the themes and narratives of the film, illustrating the evolution of crime-action investigation drama.

“Through this film, we will see a more serious and darker side of crime,” says Ryoo. Adds art director Han Ah-reum, “‘I, the Executioner’ depicts the duality and harm of the media. Director Ryoo Seung-wan addresses the social issues of our time through his signature strength that is action.”

Only in cinemas starting September 25, “I, the Executioner,” from CJ ENM, is distributed in the Philippines by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Discovery company. #ITheExecutioner

Posted on: September 20th, 2024 by @peoplesbalita No Comments

“This is in line with the instruction of DOTr Secretary Jaime J. Bautista to ensure safety of all road users.

(PAUL JOHN REYES)

Exclusively available at Robinsons Movieworld from September 18 to 30, the 2009 classic has been remastered in 3D, giving fans an immersive cinematic experience like never before.

Originally released in 2009 and directed by Henry Selick, Coraline is based on the novella by Neil Gaiman and continues to captivate audiences with its dark, imaginative storytelling. The film follows Coraline, a young girl voiced by Dakota Fanning, who uncovers a secret door in her new home that leads to an alternate reality—a place that at first seems like a dream come true but quickly transforms into a nightmarish trap.

Facing dangers from this “other” world, including her sinister button-eyed alternate parents, Coralinemust summon all her courage and wit to save her family and escape back to reality. Themes of self-discovery, family, and the temptation of escapism resonate deeply throughout the story, making it a fan favorite for both children and adults.

Coraline was Laika’s first feature film, produced under the guidance of founders Phil Knight, his son Travis Knight, and Will Vinton. Despite skepticism about the success of stop-motion animation in an industry dominated by CGI, Coraline broke the mold, becoming a critical and financial hit. Directed and adapted by Henry Selick, the visionary behind The Nightmare Before Christmas and James and the Giant Peach, Coraline brought an unparalleled artistic style to the screen.

The film’s visual aesthetic owes much to Japanese illustrator Tadahiro Uesugi, whose concept art shaped the whimsical yet eerie world Coraline inhabits. Complementing this was the haunting score by Bruno Coulais, which used unconventional sounds to heighten the movie’s tension and fantasy.

Featuring a stellar cast that includes Teri Hatcher, Jennifer Saunders, Keith David, and Ian McShane, Coraline became a beloved classic that grossed $16.85 million in its opening weekend. Fast forward to its 2023 re-release, and the magic lives on—its global box office earnings now surpass $29 million, reaffirming its status as a cinematic gem.

In honor of the film’s 15th anniversary, Laika has unveiled a remastered 3D version of Coraline, giving a new generation of moviegoers and longtime fans the chance to experience the movie in an even more immersive way. Released in partnership with Trafalgar Releasing, the 3D version first debuted in the U.S. in August 2023, grossing $12.5 million in just four days. Now, it’s time for the Philippines to enjoy this visual treat, exclusively at Robinsons Movieworld!
