MAAARI nang matanggap ng mga kawani ng gobyerno ang umento sa sahod ngayong taon.
Ayon kay Budget Secretary Amenah Pangandaman, hinihintay na lamang nila na mailabas ng Palasyo ang executive order para rito.
Lumalabas na nasa P36 bilyon ang nakalaang alokasyon para sa salary adjustment sa ilalim ng Personnel Services Expenditures ng Fiscal Year 2024.
Nilinaw naman ng kalihim na retroactive ang salary adjustment ng mga kawani ng gobyerno mula Enero ng taong ito, subalit hindi niya matukoy kung magkano ang itataas sa sahod.
Para naman sa susunod na taon, naglaan aniya ang DBM ng P70 bilyon para sa susunod na tranche ng salary adjustment sa mga kawani ng gobyerno kasama na rito ang taas sweldo para sa mga guro.
Bukod sa dagdag sweldo, mayroon ding aasahang P7,000 na cash na medical allowance ang mga kawani ng gobyerno, kung saan nasa P9.6 bilyon ang inilaang pondo para rito.
Iginiit diin ni Pangandaman na mahalagang mabigyan ng atensyon ang kalusugan ng mga kawani ng gobyerno.
