P5.1M HALAGA NG SHABU, NASABAT NG BOC

TINATAYANG nasa P5.1 milyong halaga ng methamphetamine hydrochloride na karaniwang kilala sa tawag na “Shabu” ang nasabat, habang dalawang claimant ang nasakote matapos ang matagumpay na anti-drug interdiction operation na pinagsama-samang isinagawa ng Bureau of Customs NAIA, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), at NAIA Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group sa Central Mail Exchange Center noong Hunyo 02, 2022

4 barangay sa Irosin, Sorsogon, apektado na ng ashfall mula sa bulkang Bulusan

NASA apat na barangay na raw ang apektado sa Irosin, Sorsogon dahil sa ashfall mula sa bulkang Bulusan matapos itong mag-alburuto dakong alas-10:37 Linggo ng umaga.

Ayon sa municipal disaster risk reduction and management office (MDRRMO) officer na si Fritzie Michelena kabilang sa mga apektadong barangay ang Cogon, Bolos, Gulang-Gulang at Tinampo.

Nasa 800 na pamilya raw ang bahagyang naapektuhan ng ashfall sa naturang mga barangay.

Sa naganap ding phreatic explosion ng Bulkang Bulusan marami rin umano ang apektado sa Juban.

Nauna rito, inanunsyo ng Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs)Linggo ang pagkakaroon ng phreatic eruption sa Bulusan Volcano sa Sorsogon.

“This is to notify the public and concerned authorities of an ongoing phreatic eruption at Bulusan Volcano,” saad sa tweet ng seismic bureau.

Ang phreatic eruption ay isang “steam-driven explosions that occur when water beneath the ground or on the surface is directly heated by hot rocks or new volcanic deposits or indirectly by magma or magmatic gas,” anang paliwanag ng Phivolcs.

Sinabi naman ni National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council spokesperson Mark Timbal na mayroong naiulat na insidente ng ash fall sa Brgy Cogon sa Irosin.

“Ang Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office Irosin ay naghahanda ng mga evacuation centers,” pagsisiguro pa niya.

Sinabi ng NDRRMC na nakikipag-ugnayan sila sa Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council of Bicol hinggil sa pagputok ng bulkan. (Daris Jose)

ITINALAGA ni Pope Francis si Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle sa ibang posisyon, sa pagkakataong ito bilang miyembro ng Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments.

Iniulat ng Radio Veritas na ginawa ng Vatican ang appointment sa publiko noong Hunyo 1 kaugnay ng anunsyo sa iba pang mga obispo na bahagi ng opisina.

Sa ilalim ng nasabing katungkulan, ang mga pari, diakono, at iba pang ordinadong ministro na gustong gumamit ng Lumang Rito ay kinakailangang isumite ang kanilang kahilingan sa Cardinal at sumang-ayon na sundin ang mga bagong pamantayan ng simbahan.

Pinangunahan ang Congregation for Divine Worship ni Cardinal-elect Archbishop Arthur Roche na bahagi ng consistory na nakatakdang gawin sa August 27. Pinalitan nito si Cardinal Robert Sarah na magreretiro sa May 2021.

Bukod sa pagiging miyembro ni Tagle sa Dicastery for Divine Worship at the Discipline of the Sacraments, bilang Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, pinangangasiwaan din niya ang Dicastery for Evangelizations.

Solidong Gilas sa 2023 FIBA World Cup — Reyes

NANGAKO kahapon si Gilas Pilipinas program director Chot Reyes na isang solidong national team ang maglalaro sa 2023 FIBA World Cup.

Ito ay matapos ang silver-medal finish ng Nationals sa nakaraang 31st Southeast Asian Games kung saan sila tinalo ng Indonesia para sa gold medal sa Hanoi, Vietnam.

NAGPALABAS ang Malakanyang, araw ng Sabado ng “revised list of areas” sa ilalim ng pinakamababang COVID-19 alert level mula Hunyo 1 hanggang Hunyo15.

Kabilang na rito ang mas maraming lungsod at munisipalidad mula sa ilang rehiyon.

Sinabi ni Acting presidential spokesperson Martin Andanar na inaprubahan, araw ng Huwebes ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) ang rekumendasyon na makapagbibigay linaw hinggil sa alert level status sa iba’t ibang lugar sa buong bansa.

Sa bagong listahan, marami ang nananatili gaya ng nakasaad sa bersyon na ipinalabas noong Mayo 27, bagama’t mas maraming “component cities and towns” ang isinama sa ilalim ng Alert Level 1.

7,000 slots, bukas para sa TNVS application – LTFRB

INANUNSIYO ng Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory (LTFRB) na basa 6,869 slots pa ang bukas para sa aplikasyon para sa transport network vehicle service (TNVS).

Sa kasalukuyan kasi, nasa mahigit 1,000 pa lamang ang natatanggap na aplikasyon ng ahensiya mula ng magsimula ang aplikasyon noong Abril 30.

Kaugnay nito, nag-abiso ang LTFRB sa mga applicants na hindi nakakumpleto ng kaukulang dokumento na gumamit ng bagong email accounts sa kanilang online application process upang muling makonsidera ang kanilang aplikasyon para sa TNVS.

Una rito, base sa LTFRB Board Resolution No. 065 series of 2022, nasa 7,000 TNVS ang inilaan para sa Metro Manila, 200 sa Central luzon, 500 sa Bicol Region at 150 sa Western Visayas.

Sa ngayon, nasa 26,301 TNVS units ang nag-o-operate sa buong bansa kung saan karamihan na nasa 25,495 ay nag-o-operate sa Metro Manila.

Nagpaalala naman ang LTFRB sa panibagong fare system para sa TNVS.

Dapat na nasa P40 ang flagdown rate para sa isang Sedan-type at P15 ang pamasahe sa kada kilometro at P2 kada minuto.

Para naman sa premium AUV/SUV, ang flagdown rate ay nasa P50 at P18 ang kada kilometro at P2 kada minuto habang sa Hatchback o sub compact TNVS naman nasa P30 ang flagdown rate kung san P13 ang kada kilometro at P2 naman kapag kada minuto.

Dagdag na pondo para sa paggawa ng plaka, hiling ng LTO sa susunod na administrasyon

HUMILING ang Land Transportation Office (LTO) sa susunod na administrasyon ng dagdag na pondo para sa paggawa ng plaka.

Ito ay sa kadahilanang nasa 11 milyon na ang backlog ng LTO sa paggawa ng plaka ng motorsiklo.

Sa isang press conference ay sinabi ni Department of Transportation, LTO chief Assistant Secretary Edgar Galvante na sa ngayon ay nasa pitong milyong plaka na ang kanilang natapos at umaasa pa aniya sila na maglalaan pa ng dagdag na pondo ang Marcos administration para rito.

Patuloy kasi aniyang nadadagdagan at dumadami ang mga indibidwal na bumibili ng motor kada taon na may average increase na P1.2 milyon hanggang P1.3 milyon dahilan kung bakit kinakailangan din nilang magtrabaho ng overtime upang mahabol ito.

Matatandaan na una nang humingi si Galvante ng P2.6 bilyon para tugunan ang backlog ng kagawaran dahil sa naging problema nito kabilang na ang outsourcing ng produksyon ng mga plaka dahil hindi sa kawalan ng kakayahan ng mga planta sa bansa na tugunan ang paggawa ng plaka. (Daris Jose)

HAPPY na ang mga fans ng love team on and off camera na sina Gabbi Garcia at Khalil Ramos na mapapanood na rin ngayong gabi ang kanilang first primetime TV series, ang mystery-romance mini-series na Love You Stranger mula sa GMA Public Affairs.

Matatandaan na dapat ay noon pa nila nagawa ang project na ito, pero hindi natuloy dahil sa pandemic.

Puno nga raw ng misteryo ang serye, na magtatampok kina Gabbi as LJ at Khalil as Ben na parehong may itinatagong lihim. Sasamahan sila sa serye ni Gil Cuerva as Tristan. “We’re very happy because the scenes we have done so far are really good,” sabi ni Jeric. “We incorporated our own culture into this adaptation. I’m excited for the people to see what we have been working on.”

Pero hindi lamang iyon ang ikinatutuwa ni Jeric, na katatapos lamang tumanggap ng Best Actor awards sa dalawang international film festivals abroad, one of his longtime dreams.

At ang inspirasyon niya ngayon, ang girlfriend na si Rabiya Mateo, “na when she came into my life, I felt more driven to hone my talent, build my career and focus on achieving my goals. My dream ay ang magkatrabaho kami ni Rabiya sa isang acting project.”

Very soon ay mapapanood na ang Start Up sa GMA Telebabad, na dinidirek nina Jerry Sineneng at Dominic Zapata.
