PDU30 hinikayat ang mga survivors ng bagyong Odette na huwag gamitin sa bisyo ang cash aid mula sa gobyerno

HINIKAYAT President Rodrigo Roa Duterte ang mga survivors ng bagyong Odette na umiwas at huwag gamitin ang cash assistance ng gobyerno sa bisyo.

Ang mga low-income residents ng mga lugar na hinagupit ng bagyong Odette ay makakakuha ng P1,000 na cash aid mula sa national government. Hanggang 5 miyembro ng pamilya ang makakakuha ng cash assistance.

Kausap ang mga survivors ng Bais City, Negros Oriental, sinabi ng Pangulo na “Have you received the P5,000 cash assistance? Not yet? Or have you spent it all?”

“That’s what usually happens if the husband spends the P5,000 on alcoholic beverages. And the wives, if they have nothing to do, they are like ‘Marites’ and keep on gossiping and playing poker,. ”

Ang ayuda ayon sa Pangulo ay “is intended for the family, especially the children.”

“Don’t mess with me by using the money to purchase alcoholic drinks. If you do that, I’ll come back here for you and punch you. Yes, I will. If somebody reports to me that you spent your money on cockfighting, I won’t regard anybody as my friend. I will really come back for you,” dagdag na pahayag nito.

Sinabi naman ng interior department na ang budget para sa cash assistance ay naka-iskedyul na i-download sa local na pamahalaan.

Maaari namang simulan ng local authorities ang distribusyon sa oras na matanggap na nila ang pondo.

Required ang mga ito na i- post ang mga pangalan ng mga beneficiaries sa social media o sa 3 conspicuous areas sa barangay,.

“Those who fail to get the aid may appeal through a grievance committee,” ayon kay DILG Usec. Malaya.

“The police and military were instructed to lend manpower if needed. The social welfare department, meanwhile, will provide technical assistance in the distribution, dagdag na pahayag nito.

“Local governments are given 15 days to distribute the cash aid, though they could ask for an extension,” ani Malaya.

“Duterte during his visit to Negros Oriental also instructed the social welfare department to give typhoon victims trapal, family food packs, kitchenware such as pots, and financial assistance, ayon naman Kay Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles.

Pinas, mananatili sa ilalim ng Alert Level 3 hanggang Enero 15

INAPRUBAHAN ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) araw ng Miyerkules, Disyembre 29, 2021, ang rekomendasyon na manatili ang lahat ng lalawigan, highly urbanized cities, at independent component cities sa ilalim ng Alert Level 3 mula Enero 1 hanggang Enero 15, 2022.

Gayundin, ipinalabas ng IATF ang updated country risk classification epektibo Enero 1, 2022 hanggang Enero 15, 2022.

Ang Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia at Spain ay nasa ilalim ng Red List.

Nasa ilalim naman ng Green List ang Bangladesh, Benin, Bhutan, British Virgin Islands, China (Mainland), Cote d’ Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Falkland Islands (Malvinas), Fiji, The Gambia, Guinea, Hong Kong (Chinese Special Administrative Region), Indonesia, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Liberia, Montserrat, Oman, Pakistan, Paraguay, Rwanda, Saba (Special Municipality of the Kingdom of the Netherlands), Saint Barthelemy, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Sint Eustatius, Taiwan, Timor-Leste (East Timor), Togo, Uganda at United Arab Emirates.

“All other countries/territories /jurisdictions not mentioned above shall be under the Yellow List,” ayon kay acting Presidential spokesperson at Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles.

Samantala, ang IATF, batay na rin sa naging rekomendasyon ng Department of Foreign Affairs, “approved the acceptance/recognition for purposes of arrival quarantine protocols at maging ang para sa interzonal/intrazonal movement para sa national COVID-19 vaccination certificate ng Armenia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Kuwait, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Thailand, United States of America at Oman.

“This is in addition to such other countries/territories/ jurisdictions whose proofs of vaccination the IATF already approved for recognition in the Philippines, and without prejudice to such other proofs of vaccination approved by the IATF for all inbound travelers,” ani Nograles.

Kaugnay nito, inatasan naman ang Bureau of Quarantine, the Department of Transportation – One Stop Shop at ang Bureau of Immigration na kilalanin lamang ang mga proofs of vaccination na inaprubahan ng IATF. (Daris Jose)

Mga tren sa Metro Manila mananatili sa 70% passenger capacity – DOTr

Mananatili sa 70 percent ang pinapahintulutang passenger capacity sa lahat ng mga tren sa Metro Manila kahit pa simula bukas, Enero 3, ay ilalagay na ulit ang National Capital Region sa ilalim ng Alert Level 3.

Ayon sa Department of Transportation (DOTr), patuloy pa rin naman ang pagpapatupad sa mga health protocols sa tuwing sasakayan sa mga tren at gagamit sa iba pang rail facilities tulad ng mga estasyon at depots, at magsasagawa rin ng random antigen tests sa mga pasahero.

“As recommended by our railways sector, all rail lines will maintain the present 70% passenger capacity under the Alert Level 3 status, provided that strict health measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 will be enforced,” ayon kay Transportation Sec. Arthur Tugade.

“This is to avoid the ‘bottlenecking’ or crowding of passengers at stations, which may increase the risk of virus transmission,” dagdag pa niya.

Nabatid na simula bukas hanggang sa Enero 15, 2022 ay ilalagay ulit ang Metro Manila sa Alert Level 3 kasunod na rin nang pagtaas ng mga naitalang bagong COVID-19 infections sa bansa.

LeBron unang may edad na NBA player na nagbuhos ng 43-pts at 14 rebounds sa panalo ng Lakers

Buwena mano sa kanyang selebrasyon ng ika-37 kaarawan, muling nagpakitang gilas sa kanyang performance ang superstar na si LeBron James upang bitbitin sa panalo ang Los Angeles Lakers laban sa Portland Trail Blazers, 139-106.

Nagbuhos si LeBron ng season-high na 43 points at 14 rebounds para sa kanilang ika-18 panalo.

Batay sa record ng NBA si James ang pinakamatanda sa kasaysayan na nagtala ng maraming puntos at rebounds.

Huling nakagawa ng ganito ay ang basketball legend na si Larry Bird na may edad noon na 35-anyos, taong 1992 nang magtala naman ng 49 points at 14 rebounds.

Sa nakalipas na huling pitong laro, nag-a-average si LeBron sa 36 points.

Samantala nag-ambag rin naman sa panalo si Russell Westbrook na kumamada ng panibagong triple double performance gamit ang 15 points, 13 rebounds at 12 assists.

‘Enhanced mandate’ para sa mga bakunado na vs COVID-19 ilalabas ng Metro Manila Council

Nakatakdang talakayin ng Metro Manila Council ang mga terms para sa “enhanced vaccination mandate” na magbibigay sa mga fully vaccinated nang indibidwal kontra COVID-19 ng mas maraming mobility at access privileges.

Ayon kay MMDA chairman Benhur Abalos, pinagsasama-sama pa nila ang mga polisiya mula sa iba’t ibang bansa na maari nilang gayahin at maipatupad sa National Capital Region kung saan ang COVID-19 reproduction number ay tumaas sa 4.05 at ang positivity rate naman ay pumalo na sa 28 percent.

Kaya naman target aniya ng mga Metro Manila mayors na i-maximize ang vaccination status ng mga tao gayong hindi naman lahat ay maaring pilitin na magpabakuna kontra COVID-19.

Noong Miyerkules, sinabi ni Abalos na inaprubahan ng Metro Manila Council ang resolusyon na bumunuo sa isang technical working group na siyang mangunguna sa pag-aaral kasama ang IATF. (Daris Jose)

Mayor Tiangco positibo sa Covid-19

000MALUNGKOT na ibinalita ni Navotas City Mayor Toby Tiangco na positibo siya sa COVId-19 base sa kanyang RT-PCR test.

Humihingi ng paumanhin ang alkalde sa lahat ng kanyang nakaharap noong nakaraang mga araw at nakikiusap na obserbahan nang mabuti ang kanilang kalusugan.

Payo pa niya sa kanyang mga nakasalamuha, kung meron silang nararamdamang kakaiba, sumangguni kaagad sa doctor.

“Dahil sa aking pagiging immuno-compromised at dahil sa aking severe asthma, madalas po akong mag-self antigen test. Kahapon negative po ang antigen ko, pero kaninang tanghali ay nagpositive ako kaya agad po akong nagpa-RT-PCR test”, pahayag ni Mayor Tiangco.

“Bilang COVID patient, sasailalim po ako sa 14-days isolation ngunit hanggang makakaya, gagampanan ko pa rin po ang tungkulin nating i-monitor at pangunahan ang ating COVID response at iba pang responsibilidad bilang Mayor”. dagdag niya.

Muli din siyang nakiusap sa lahat na maging doble o triple sa pag-iingat, gawin ang health at safety protocols, at magpabakuna o booster. (Richard Mesa)

CHRISTIAN, umaming muntik nang iwan ang showbiz at magsimula sa Amerika; nabago ang plano dahil sa ‘Big Night’

MUNTIK na palang iwan ni Christian Bables ang showbiz para magsimula ng buhay sa Amerika dahil sa pandemya.

Nagkaroon ng anxieties ang aktor at pakiramdam niya ay wala na siyang panghahawakan na career noong matigil ang showbiz industry dahil sa mahabang lockdown.

Pero nabago raw ang lahat nang maging official entry sa Metro Manila Film Festival 2021 ang Big Night at nanalo pa siyang Best Actor sa Gabi ng Parangal.

Post ng aktor sa IG: “I was planning to move to the US. Create a new life or maybe pursue my passion in acting. Dala siguro ng anxieties dahil aa pandemya. But God moves in mysterious ways. The day I was deciding to book a one-way flight to the US, nag–message si Direk Perci pasok daw ang Big Night sa MMFF.

“Ipagpaliban ko daw muna ang pag–alis ko, na ang akala ng lahat ng pinagpaalamanan ko ay bakasyon lang. Hindi ko alam kung anong plan ni God pero isa lang ang naging klaro sa akin. Gusto kong patuloy na makapaghatid ng mensaheng makabuluhan through my art. Dito sana sa bansa natin, para sa bansa natin. Kung patuloy mabibigyan ng pagkakataon.”

Umaasa si Christian na madagdagan ang kita ng pelikulang Big Night dahil sa mga awards na napanalunan nito sa MMFF Awards Night na Best Picture, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Musical Score, and the Gender Sensitivity award.

Noong 2016, humakot ng acting awards si Christian for best supporting actor para sa pelikulang Die Beautiful.

ISA sa wish ni Super Tekla sa pagpasok ng Bagong Taon ay ang makasama niya ang kanyang bunsong anak na si Angelo.

Noong maghiwalay si Tekla at ang girlfriend nitong si Michelle Banaag, pinasama nito ang anak nilang si Angelo dahil mas kailangan daw nito ang kanyang ina.

Pinabulaanan naman ng host ng The Boobay And Tekla Show na hindi sila nagkabalikan ng kanyang ex-girlfriend. Nagkikita lang daw sila ni Michelle dahil sa anak nila.

“Hindi kami nagbalikan. Nagkikita kami dahil siyempre ‘yung anak ko sa kanya. Parati ko naman sinasabi kay Michelle na ingatan niya si Angelo. Kapag ‘yan pinabayaan mo, wala na, hindi na kita mapapatawad talaga,” diin ni Tekla.

Tinanong si Tekla kung sakaling si Michelle ang lumapit sa kanya at humiling na magkabalikan sila?

Sagot ni Tekla ay mas nakabubuti raw na hiwalay sila para walang gulo. Importante raw ay ang maalagaan si Angelo ng kanyang ina.

NA-GRANT na ang divorce ng Hollywood action star Arnold Schwarzenegger sa kanyang estranged wife na si Maria Shriver pagkatapos ng sampung taon.

Isang private judge ang pumirma sa official divorce papers ng dalawa at na-finalized ito sa L.A. Superior Court system last Tuesday (December 28).

Ang nagpatagal daw sa divorce proceedings nina Arnold at Maria ay ang complicated property settlement na nagkakahalaga ng $400 millon na paghahatian ng dalawa. Wala pala silang prenup agreement.

Kinasal noong 1986 sina Arnold at Maria na ang ina ay isang Kennedy. Nag-file ng divorce si Maria noong 2011 pagkatapos na lumantad sa publiko ang love child ni Arnold na si Joseph Baena.

Ang ina ni Joseph ay ang longtime housekeeper nila Arnold ar Maria na si Mildred Patricia Baena.
