20 OPISYAL NG PHILIPPINE COAST GUARD, ITINAAS ANG RANGGO

ISINAGAWA ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) ang sabay-sabay na donning of ranks at oath-taking ceremony para sa 20 bagong na-promote na flag-rank officers sa National Headquarters, Port Area, Maynila.

Inaprubahan ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang pag-angat ng ranggo ng dalawang Coast Guard Rear Admiral at 18 Coast Guard Commodore..

Sa kanyang mensahe, pinuri ni Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Giovanni Lopez ang mga na-promote dahil sa kanilang mahusay na serbisyo at propesyonalismo. Binigyang-diin niya na ang kanilang dedikasyon ay nakatulong upang mapataas ang reputasyon ng ahensya at makapaghatid ng karangalan at tiwala sa taumbayan.

Samantala, ayon kay PCG Commandant Admiral Ronnie Gil L. Gavan, ang pag-abot sa flag rank ay may kaakibat na mas mataas na antas ng pananagutan at responsibilidad. Iginiit niya na ang promosyon ay hindi lamang pagbabago ng posisyon, kundi muling pagpapatibay ng kanilang dedikasyon sa serbisyo at sa organisasyon.

4. Commodore Jonathan Marfil – Commander, Coast Guard District Eastern Visayas
5. Commodore Glen Daraug – Chief of Staff, Coast Guard Fleet
6. Commodore Lejanie Dy – Deputy Chief of Coast Guard Staff for Civil Relations Service
7. Commodore Jerome Cayabyab – Commanding Officer, Coast Guard Communications and Electronics System

Ang seremonya ng donning of ranks ay isang tradisyon sa Coast Guard na sumisimbolo sa pagtanggap ng responsibilidad at pagpapakita ng tiwala ng pamunuan sa kanilang kakayahan bilang mga lider.
