VP Duterte impeachment complaints isinumite na kay Speaker Dy

INIHAYAG ni House Secretary General Atty. Cheloy Velicaria-Garafil na pormal nang isinumite ng kanyang tanggapan, ang dalawang impeachment complaints laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte sa opisina ni Speaker Faustino “Bojie” Dy III.
Ito ay ayon na rin sa isinasaad sa konstitusyon at Rules ng House of Representatives.
“Upon receipt and verification of the complaints and their accompanying endorsements, the Office of the Secretary General forwarded the documents to the Office of the Speaker for appropriate action,” ani Garafil.
Ang unang verified impeachment complaint laban kay VP Duterte ay inihain mga miyembro ng Makabayan Coalition at inindorso nina Party-list Reps. Antonio Tinio ng Alliance of Concerned Teachers (ACT), Sarah Jane Elago ng Gabriela Women’s Party, at Renee Louise Co ng Kabataan.
Kasama sa nagreklamo sina Francisca “France” Castro, Arlene Brosas, Liza Maza, Atty. Neri Colmenares, Renato Reyes Jr., Raymond Palatino, David Michael M. San Juan, David D. D’Angelo, Modesto Floranda, Ronaldo “Ka Jerome” Adonis, Eufemia Doringo, Jocelyn Andamo, Amirah Ali Lidasan, Jeffrey F. Ranoy, Francisco “Eco” Dangla III, Jandrie Layba, Erlinda Alfonso, Albert G. Pascual, Raymond Basilio, Cathleen Gaea B. de Guzman, Mhing Archie S. Gomez, Tiffany Faith F. Brillante, Francesca Mariae M. Duran, John Lesther Mercader, Sheila Mae L. Cupay, Raven Kristine B. Habang inendorso naman nina Party-list Reps. Leila de Lima ng Mamamayang Liberal at Perci Cendaña ng Akbayan ang ikalawang impeachment complaint na inihain naman ng mga representante mula sa progressive organizations at civil society groups.
