Tinatayang mahigit 5.32 billion halaga ng shabu, sinunog sa Cavite

TINATAYANG P5,321,563,665.95  billion halaga na illegal drugs o shabu ang sinunog  ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Ageency (PDEA) sa Integrated Waste Management Inc. (IWMI) sa Brgy Aguado, Trece Martires City Martes ng umaga.

Kabilang sa mga sinunog ay  738.2005 kilograms ng  Methamphetamine Hydrochloride, o Shabu; 1,478,4915 kilograms ng  Marijuana, 4,8668 kilogram na MDMA o Ecstasy ; 39,2168 gramo na Cocaine; 2,2116 gramo na toluene; 6,1516 gramo na Ketamine;  5,51000 gramo na Phenacetin; 1,0400 gramo na LSD; 2,000 ml  na Liquid Cocaine; 49,0420 ml na liquid meth; 1,398,05 ml na liquid marijuana at mga iba’t ibang assorted  surrendered expired medicines.

” These are pieces of drug evidence confiscated during  anti-drug operation by PDEA and other counterpart law enforcement turn over by authorities that were recently ordered  by the court  to be destroyed. Stacked inside a chamber, the dangerous drugs were burned beyond recovery’ ayon kay PDEA Director Undersecretary Isagani R. Nerez.

Ang mga droga at controlled precursors and essential chemicals (CPECs) ay bahagi ng mga ebidensya na nakumpiska sa iba’t ibang drug operations na isinagawa ng PDEA kasama ang kanilang counter part law enforcement at military units at hindi na kailangan na ebidensya sa korte.

Sinunog ang nabanggit na mga drug evidence sa pamamagitan ng Thermal Decomposition, o thermolysis, isang proseso kung saan sinusunog ang mga ito na may 1,000 degrees centigrade na init nito

Kasama sa nasabing okasyon ay mula sa representante ng Department of Justice (DOJ), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), mga lokal na opisyal ng Barangay Aguado, Trece Martires City, Philippine National Police (PNP) at iba pang law enforcement agencies, non-government organizations (NGOs) at mga mamamahayag.

Ang pagsira sa mga iba’t ibang droga ay pagsunod sa ipinapatupad na panuntunan sa kustodiya at pagtatapon sa mga nakumpiskang mga droga na nakasaad sa Section 21, Article II of Republic Act 9165, o ang Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and Dangerous Drugs Board Regulation No. 1, Series of 2002.
