INAMIN ni Jackie Lou Blanco na hindi madaling maka-cope agad, lalo na kung magkasunod na pumanaw ang kanyang inang si Pilita Corrales at ex-husband na si Ricky Davao.

Sey ni Jackie na she and her kids are taking it one day at a time.

“I don’t know. By God’s grace, by God’s love. I take it a day at a time, which is the same thing I tell my children. Let’s take it a day at a time. There will be a day when we’re okay, the next day, we’re not okay, and it’s okay.”

Sa pagpanaw ng dalawang taong mahalaga sa buhay niya, ang importante daw ay manatili ang pagmamahal na ibinahagi sa kanila.

“What I’ve realized is when you lose a loved one even with my situation with Ricky, what is left is just love. I don’t think of the not so good times, I don’t think of anything else but what last pala talaga is love both for mom and Ricky.

“When there is death all you remember is love and love stays. It may be a different kind of love but it’s love that stays.”
