Ayon sa official statement ng Sparkle GMA Artist Center: “Sparkle GMA Artist Center assures the public that Boobay is currently stable, and in good condition. Sparkle is fully supporting his recovery with complete medical care, rest, and regular monitoring.

We sincerely thank fans and the public for their concern and kind messages during this time. Boobay is grateful for the support and looks forward to returning once fully recovered.”

Patuloy naman na mino-monitor ang kalusugan ni Boobay at grateful ito sa natatanggap na suporta at tulong ng Sparkle.

Base sa mga video sa social media, bigla raw napahinto, nawalan ng balanse, at tuluyang bumagsak sa entablado si Boobay noong mag-perform ito. Agad siyang dinala sa backstage upang mabigyan ng first aid treatment.

Matapos ang ilang minuto, muling lumabas si Boobay sa stage para ituloy ang show kasama ang partner na si Super Tekla.

Hindi ito ang unang pagkakataon na nakaranas ang host ng The Boobay And Tekla Show ng ganitong insidente. Noong 2016 ay nagka-mild stroke ito at nag-iwan ng tinatawag na “absence seizure” o biglaang pag-blanko ng isip at pagkawala ng malay sa loob ng ilang segundo.

“Dun ako natatawa. Porke’t Chinese si Perry, money launderer na agad? Hindi ba puwedeng alamin nila yung background niya?

“Nasa food business siya. Actually, diyan kami nagkakilala noong meron pa akong Meat Kris business. Tapos ay chef si Perry ng company nila. Mahilig siyang magnegosyo. Masipag ang asawa ko.

“Pero wala kaming mga helicopter or yacht. Wala kaming mga hotel sa China. Hindi iligal ang mga negosyo niya,” diin pa ni Kris.

Very understanding at supportive daw si Perry sa pagbalik ni Kris sa pag-arte via House of Lies. Medyo nagkaroon lang daw ng concern si Kris sa love scenes.

“Hirap na hirap ako sa mga love scenes. Hindi kasi ako comfortable na may kahalikan ako. Siguro nung single ako, okay lang. Pero ngayong kasal na ako, may anak na ako, parang medyo nako-conscious na ako na ‘ano kayang iisipin ng asawa ko pag napanood niya ito?’ Hindi ko na nga binabanggit,” tawa pa ni Kris.

THE HBO film Sinners made Oscar history as the most nominated film. Nakakuha ang naturang vampire movie ng 16 nominations including best picture and best director and best acting nominations for three of its stars: Michael B. Jordan, Wunmi Mosaku and Delroy Lindo.

The 98th Academy Awards will be held Sunday, March 15, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The awards will be televised live on ABC and streamed live on Hulu.
