Natanggap kamakailan ng VVL ang Special Citation for Anime Live Action mula sa Otaku Choice Awards 2024.

“We would like to congratulate once again ‘Voltes V: Legacy’ for their contribution to the community, and would like to personally give them this Special Citation trophy soon. This is a simple recognition from all of us at the Otaku Community,” ayon sa post ng Otaku Choice Awards via Facebook.

Ang Sparkle artist na si Matt Lozano, who played Big Bert Armstrong sa series, ang personal na tumanggap ng trophy during the ToyCon PH Evolution 2024.

ANG theater and film actor/model na si Markki Stroem ang magri-represent ng Pilipinas sa Mister Universe 2024 sa Hollywood, California in September 2024.

Ayon kay Stroem: “When I found out about the pageant last year, I was appointed. I got a message from the people in the States because they saw me host Love Yourself’s Love Gala with Pia Wurtzbach and Catriona Gray.

“I guess I spoke so eloquently about HIV and my advocacy for it that it reached the States, I guess. And they asked me if I wanted to compete. I’ve never competed in a pageant in my life before so I said, ‘You know what? You’re only young once so take it!’

“So I decided I would come and represent the Philippines this time around and see what I can do in the pageant scene.”

Isa sa pinaghahandaan ni Stroem ay ang talent portion ng pageant. Ilan sa pinagpipilian niyang gawin ay ang mag-fire dance, mag-pole dance o ang kumanta.

“I don’t know yet what talent I’ll do as it draws near. Actually, I’m just taking it one day at a time,” sey ni Markki na huling napanood sa musical na ‘Rent.’

NAG-VIRAL ang mugshot ni Justin Timberlake after ito naaresto noong Tuesday ng umaga sa Sag Harbor, New York, on DWI (Driving While Intoxicated) charges.

Ayon sa report ng TMZ: “Timberlake was pulled over around 12:30 a.m., according to his attorney Ed Burke Jr. The singer had just been out to dinner with friends at the American Hotel.

“The 43-year old former NSYNC member refused a breathalyzer test, which is an automatic license suspension, as per the DMV in the state of New York.”

Sa report ng arresting officer ay “in an intoxicated condition” ang singer: “his eyes were bloodshot and glassy and a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath. He performed poorly on all standard field sobriety tests”

Claim ni Timberlake: “I had one martini and I followed my friends home.”

Kasalukuyang nasa gitna ng kanyang ‘Forget Tomorrow World Tour’ si Justine at baka maapektuhan ang ticket sales dahil sa pag-aresto sa kanya.

Dalawa ang sinampang traffic violation sa singer: running a stop sign and failure to stay in the correct lane. Justine was granted bail at ang next court hearing niya ay sa July 26.
