PBBM, nakiisa sa pagsisimula ng Ramadhan

NAKIISA si Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. sa Filipino Muslim community sa bansa at sa buong mundo  sa pagsisimula ngayong araw ng Huwebes, Marso 23, ng Holy Month of Ramadhan.

“In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, I join the Filipino Muslim community here and around the world as they welcome and observe the Holy Month of Ramadhan,” ayon sa mensahe ng Pangulo.

Ngayon aniyang panahon ng “fasting, prayer, and almsgiving” ay oportunidad na katawanin ang kahalagahan ng  disiplina, paggalang at pagpapakumbaba.

“The spiritual that the gate of Heaven is open during this sacred month calls upon our brothers and sisters to purify their souls against the perils of worldly pleasures as well as seek for forgiveness and peace,” ayon sa Pangulo.

Sa pagitan aniya ng panalangin sa Panginoong Diyos para sa mga “answered prayers” at hiling na manatili ang biyaya, marapat din aniya na isama sa pang-araw -araw na panalangin ang mga dumaranas ng “deep distress” dahil sa pagkagutom,  natural calamities, at hindi kanakanais na mga pangyayari.

“The rituals and services during Ramadhan remind us of our shared moral obligation -regardless of faith – to compassionately take care of each other, uphold our human dignity, and stand in solidarity,” aniya pa rin.

“As a nation enriched with cultural diversity, let us allow our hearts to embrace the profound truth that respect conquers divisions, understanding obliterates prejudice and love prevails over all,” dagdag na pahayag ng Pangulo sabay sabing “I wish you a solemn and blessed observance.” (Daris Jose)
