PBBM, lumipad na patungong SoKor para sa APEC Summit

LUMIPAD na si Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr., araw ng Huwebes patungong South Korea (SoKor) para magpartisipa sa 32nd APEC Summit.
Ang Pangulo ay lulan ng Presidential 001 at eksaktong 12:45 ng tanghali umalis ng Pilipinas.
Sa kanyang departure speech, sinabi ni Pangulong Marcos na ipapamalas niya ang commitment ng Pilipinas para pangalagaan ang economic partnership sa ibang bansa at maging ang isulong ang digital transformation.
“I intend to showcase the Philippines’ commitment to fostering economic partnerships and promoting a favorable business climate, aligned with our government’s vision of building a strong, innovation-driven economy,” ayon sa Pangulo.
Sa kabilang dako, bahagi ng delegasyon ng Pangulo sina Presidential Communications Office Acting Secretary Dave Gomez, Department of Foreign Affairs Secretary Ma. Theresa Lazaro, Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Cristina Roque, Department of Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac, Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs Frederick Go, at Presidential Communications Office Undersecretary at Palace Press Officer Claire Castro.
Ang partisipasyon ni Pangulong Marcos sa APEC Summit ay sesentro sa pagsusulong ng economic interests ng Pilipinas, layon nito na mas palalimin pa ang ugnayan sa APEC members at muling pagtibayin ang commitment ng bansa sa pananaw ng mga entity na “more open, prosperous at dynamic Asia-Pacific.”
Samantala, habang nasa SoKor ang Pangulo ay magsisilbi namang caretakers ng bansa sina Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, Agrarian Reform Secretary Conrado Estrella III, and Education Secretary Sonny Angara. (Daris Jose)
