Para sa short film na ‘Lip Sync Assassin’: PRECIOUS PAULA NICOLE, ‘di makapaniwalang nagwagi sa CinePride Film Festival sa LA

HINDI pa rin makapaniwala si ‘Drag Race Philippines’ season one winner, Precious Paula Nicole dahil sa pagkapanalo niya bilang Best Lead Performance sa 2025 CinePride Film Festival in Los Angeles para sa pinagbidahan niyang short film na ‘Lip Sync Assassin.’

Nagpasalamat sa social media si Precious sa buong team ng Lip Sync Assassin, her Drag Race Philippines family, at ang kanyang pamilya sa suporta at paniniwala na binigay sa kanya.

Napanalunan din ng ‘Lip Syc Assasin’ ang Best Director for Jon Galvez. Kabilang din sa cast ay sina Peewee O’Hara, Erin Espiritu, Argel Saycon, and drag queen Mrs. Tan.

‘Lip Sync Assassin’ is story of survival, sacrifice, and identity, all set within the colourful world of Filipino drag culture.

Precious plays Sampaguita, isang drag queen na sikretong nagtatrabaho bilang contract killer. Biglang naiba ang takbo ng mundo niya nang makabangga niya si Rudy, played by Argel Saycon.

Nag-premiere ang ‘Lip Sync Assassin’ noong September 11 to 14 sa Los Angeles. It is the only Filipino entry sa lineup of global LGBTQIA+ films.

Napili rin ito para sa 29 Queer Palms and Gay Queer Film Festival.

Isa rin ito sa short film entries (under the Open Call category) ng Sinag Maynila 2025 festival na magsisimula on Sept. 24 to 30.
