Pagdating sa bansa nang mahigit 3M doses ng Moderna Covid-19 vaccines, pinangunahan ni Pangulong Duterte

PINANGUNAHAN ni Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte ang pagsalubong sa pagdating nang mahigit sa 3 milyong doses ng Moderna Covid-19 vaccines na dinonate ng gobyerno ng Estados Unidos sa Villamor Air Base,Pasay City.

Sa maikling mensahe ng Pangulo ay pinasalamatan nito ang Amerika dahil sa kabutihang-loob na ibahagi ang Covid-19 assistance sa Pilipinas.

“I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to the COVAX Facility for the continuous donation of these vaccines. We look forward to the delivery of even more life-saving vaccines in the country very soon,” ayon sa Pangulo.

“We are equally grateful for the donations of the key medical supplies and equipment and the provisions of institutions support of our Covid response. All of these have helped, definitely will continue to help the Filipino people. Indeed, the cooperation between the Philippines and US in overcoming the pandemic highlights the strong and deep friendship between out two countries,” dagdag na pahayag ng Pangulo.

Ang pagdadala aniya ng bakuna ng Estados Unidos para sa mga mamamayang Filipino ay nakapapagod at dumaan sa mahirap na proseso.

“May I just make a segue of my talk to you. I know that it is the sentiment of America that the vaccines that will be given to the Philippines should go first to those who have least in life. Yung mga mahirap. The poor ones who cannot afford and for those… well… who do not want to be vaccinated we will try to entice them with the vaccines given by the United States,” ani Pangulong Duterte.

Ang mga bakuna aniya na dinonate ng Estados Unidos ay ibibigay niya sa mga mahihirap na mamamayan.

“Rest assured that everybody will follow that directive. Let us beat Covid-19 together at maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat,” pagtatapos ng Pangulo. (Daris Jose)
