Nominated bilang National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts: DINGDONG, positibo at bilib na bilib sa kakayanan ni VILMA

OPISYAL nang na-nominate si Star for All Seasons Vilma Santos-Recto para sa National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts.

Ang anunsiyo ay mula mismo kay Dingdong Dantes, ang president ng Aktor (League of Filipino Actors).

Ang samahang ito ng mga nasa showbiz ang isa sa mga nag-indorso kay Ate Vi with matching  documents and video materials, sa National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA).

“Vilma Santos has turned in incomparable works for six decades. “She is a paragon of professionalism, a cultural champion and nation-builder.” lahad pa ni Dingdong.

Dagdag pa ng aktor na sa edad na 70 years old ay very much popular sa lahat ng henerasyon ang nagbabalik bilang gobernadora ng Batangas.

Bukod sa pagiging most awarded actress, ay nagsilbi ng tatlong termino as mayor of Lipa City (1998 to 2007) and three-term governor of Batangas. (2007 to 2016).

Ilan sa mga grupong kasamang nag endorso para sa nominasyon ng Star for all Seasons para sa Pambansang Alagad ng Sining ay ang Association of State Universities and Colleges, University of the Philippines College of Mass Communication, Bicol University through president Baby Boy Benjamin Nebres III, Fashion Designer Association of the Philippines through chair Gil Granado, Society of Filipino Archivists for Film, University of Santo Tomas Department of Communications and Media Studies, Multimedia Press Society of the Philippines through president Ambet Nabus and chair Jun Nardo, Ladlad, Viva Communications, Inc., Hundred Islands Film Festival, Montañosa Film Festival, Mapua University Digital Film Program, Regal Entertainment, Star Cinema/ABSCBN, GMA 7, Ako Bicol party-list and Bantayog Film Festival Cam Norte.

Maging si Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan at Lone District of Santa Rosa (Laguna) Rep. Danilo Ramon Fernandez, ay nag-submit din ng kanilang endorsements.

Kasama rin ang lahat ng mga nagkakaisang  samahan ng fan clubs ni Ate Vi under the leadership of Engr. Jojo Lim.

Positibo naman ang paniniwala ni Dingdong na makukuha ni Ate Vi ang pagiging National Artist.
