Maximum tolerance ng mga pulis sa September 21protest, pinuri ng Napolcom

PINURI ni National Police Commission (Napolcom) ang ipinakitang maximum tolerance ng Philippine National Police (PNP) sa ikinasang rally sa Trillion Peso March.

Ayon kay Napolcom chief Commissioner Rafael Calinisan, nagpapasalamat ang kanilang hanay sa hindi matatawarang serbisyo ng mga pulis para mapanatili na maayos ang rally.

Nakalulungkot ayon kay Calinisan na may ­ilang grupo ang nanggulo at gumamit ng Molotov cocktails at binato ang mga pulis sa bahagi ng Ayala Bridge sa Maynila.

Nakatanggap pa ng mensahe si Cali­nisan mula sa officer sa ground.

Sinaluduhan ni Calinisan ang mga pulis sa pagpapatupad ng maximum tolerance sa kabila ng extreme provocation ng mga rallyista. Bilib si Calinisan sa katapa­ngan, propesyunalismo at resilience ng mga pulis.

“Let us give tribute to the men and women in uniform who, despite danger and injury, fulfilled their sworn duty to safeguard lives and maintain order. Their sacrifice reflects the PNP’s unwavering commitment to peace, discipline and service to the community. Kasama ako sa napakaraming Pilipino na nagpapasalamat sa inyong serbisyo. They are truly the protectors of the people.Thankless job ang pagiging pulis. They are always put in harm’s way and their efforts often go unnoticed. But with what happened with the rallies, their sacrifices are brought to the people’s attention. And the people are appreciative of their selfless service,” pahayag ni Calinisan.

Tiniyak pa ni Calinisan ang publiko na mananatiling nakaalerto ang law enforcement agencies sa anumang tawag ng emergencies.
