INATASAN ni President-elect Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. si incoming Department of Budget and Management (DBM) secretary Amenah Pangandaman na tiyakin na ang kanyang priority sectors ay makakakuha ng suporta mula sa 2023 national expenditure program.
Sinabi ni Pangandaman, sa isang kalatas na bilang karagdagan sa economic reconstruction target ni Marcos Jr., nais ng president-elect na pagtuunan ng pansin ang mga sumusunod na aspeto gaya ng “agricultural and food security, climate change adaptation, economic recovery, improved healthcare and education, enhanced infrastructure projects including digital infrastructure, utilization of renewable energy sources, strengthened tourism and jobs creation at sustainable development.”
Sinabi ni Pangandaman, na nilalayon niya ang isang budget plan na makakapag- “promote a broad-based and inclusive economic recovery and growth.”
“President-elect Marcos’ priority programs are in line with that,” dagdag na pahayag ni Pangandaman.
“Under the constitution, the National Expenditure Program detailing the government’s proposed budget will be submitted to Congress within thirty days from the opening of its regular session,” ayon kay Canda.
Ang 19th Congress ay nakatakdang mag-convene sa Hulyo 25. (BISHOP JESUS “JEMBA” M. BASCO)
