Malakanyang, pinangalanan na ang mga miyembro ng presidential transition team

LUMIKHA na ang administrasyong Duterte ng transition committee na magbibigay kasiguraduhan ng “smooth” na paglilipat ng kapangyarihan sa Hunyo 30.

Sa kanyang Talk to the People, araw ng Huwebes, sinabi ni Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea na nagpalabas na si Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte ng Administrative Order 47 para sa paglikha ng Presidential Transition Committee (PTC).

“The PTC will oversee the implementation of the transition activities of the entire government and see to it that delivery of services to the public remains unhampered,” ayon kay Medialdea.

“The AO also directs all departments, bureaus, and instrumentalities of government to create their own internal transition committees,” dagdag na pahayag ni Medialdea.

Si Medialdea ang magsisilbing chairperson  ng komite.

Ang mga miyembro naman nito ay kinabibilangan nina Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr., Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez III,  Budget Undersecretary Tina Rose Marie Canda, at Socioeconomic Planning Secretary at National Economic and Development Authority chief Karl Kendrick Chua.

“We will work closely with the representatives of the incoming administration to ensure a peaceful and orderly transfer of power,” ani Medialdea.

Samantala, base naman sa unofficial count, kapwa malaki ang naging kalamangan ng bilang ng boto nina presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. at ng kanyang running mate, Sara Duterte, sinasabing mahigit na sa 98% ng election returns ang naipadala na sa Commission on Elections.
