FORMER Ilocos Sur governor and businessman Chavit Singson, the Chairman and a true visionary leader along with LCS Group of Companies owned by Singson, in partnership with the Electric Mobility ON (EMON), and Korea’s Automotive Technology Institute (KATECH) signed a memorandum of understanding signing ceremony to be partnered here in the e- jeepney manufacturing plant,

leveraging advanced Korean technology for production.

were also present to grace the said event.

“Our target is to produce an initial 500 units per month of e-jeepneys, along with about 2,000 e-bikes and 1,000 e-tricycles. We will ramp up production in the coming months with a price of 1.2 million per unit,” the chairman of LSC said.

This initiative is to help local jeepney drivers shift to cleaner and more sustainable technology.

The LSC Group is the largest infrastructure company in the Philippines and 10th largest conglomerate in the country with various subsidiaries in various fields.

While EMON, E Mobility ON., LTD is an e-mobility company run by Korean experts and conducts electric vehicle and value- added service business targeting Southeast Asia, South America and Africa.
