Hiling ng House Prosecution panel kay Sen Pres Chiz na maglabas ng Writ of Summons para kay VP Sara

PORMAL na hiniling ng House Prosecution panel kay Senate President Chiz Escudero na maglabas ng Writ of Summons para kay Vice President Sara Duterte.

Ito ay matapos maghain ang House prosecutors ng mosyon sa senado na magsisilbing Impeachment Court na pasagutin si Vice President Sara Zimmerman Duterte sa Articles of Impeachment na inihain laban sa kanya.

Nakapaloob sa “Entry with Motion to Issue Summons” na may petsang March 14 at naka-address kay Senate President at Presiding Officer Francis Joseph Escudero, hiniling ng prosecution panel sa senado na mag- “ISSUE the WRIT OF SUMMONS to respondent Vice President Sara Zimmerman Duterte DIRECTING her to file an Answer to the Articles of Impeachment within a non-extendible period of ten (10) days from receipt of the Writ of Summons.”

Ang mosyon ay tinanggap ng Senado ngayong Martes (Marso 25) ng umaga, na nilagdaan ni House Minority Leader at 4Ps Party-list Rep. Marcelino “Nonoy” Libanan, miyembro ng House prosecution panel.

Sinamahan siya nina 1Rider Party-list Rep. Rodge Gutierrez, miyembro ng prosecution panel, at House Deputy Majority Leader Paolo Ortega V ng La Union at House Assistant Majority Leader Jay Khonghun ng Zambales.

Si VP Duterte ay kasalukuyang nasa The Hague, Netherlands dala na rin sa pagkakakulong doon ng kanyang amang si dating Presidente Rodrigo Roa Duterte, sa International Criminal Court dahil sa kasong crimes against humanity. (Vina de Guzman)
