Full budget overhaul, suportado ni Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez

NAGPAHAYAG ng buong suporta si Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez sa panawagan ni Presidente Bongbong Marcos na i-realign ang national priorities sa araw araw na pangangailangan ng bawat pilipino.

Isusulong aniya ng Kamara ang pagkakaroon ng budget reforms,  open bicam at investments sa agriculture, health at job creation.

“The President’s message was clear: make government work better for the people. As Speaker, I am committed to making sure the budget reflects that – every centavo must go where it’s needed most,” ani Romualdez.

Nakahanda aniya ang liderato ng Kamara na agad aksyunan ang mga

structural changes sa national budget.

Ang mga naturang reporma ay dapat magbigay prayoridad sa accountability, maalis ang mga  inefficiencies at siguruhing direktang matutugunan ng pondo ang pangangailangan ng pamilyang Pilipino.

“This is not just about numbers, it’s about making sure families feel the impact of every peso we allocate,” pahayag nito.

Kaisa din ito sa panawagan na transparency sa budget deliberations, partikular na sa bicameral conference committee, kung saan pinag iisa ang bersyon sa national budget ng senado at kamara.

“No backroom haggling. The people have every right to know how their money is being spent. If we want trust, we have to earn it, starting with an open bicam,” giit nito. (Vina de Guzman)
