Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary REX Gatchalian explains the key points on agency’s welfare and development programs which were highlighted in the 3rd State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr, during the Post-SONA Discussions in Pasay City on Tuesday (July 23).

Secretary Gatchalian joined other Cabinet secretaries in the ‘Environmental Protection and Disaster Risk Reduction’ and ‘Health and Social Welfare Protection’ Clusters.

Among the key points tackled by Secretary Gatchalian were the Disaster Response Command Center (DRCC), Walang Gutom 2027, Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), Supplemental Feeding Program (SFP), and the First 1,000 Day grant.
