A DAY after typhoon Emong exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility, the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Pangasinan immediately delivered support services to Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations (ARBOs).
Among the farm machineries and equipment (FME) awarded are 4-wheel drive farm tractors, hand tractors, and knapsack sprayers. The DAR Pangasinan also turned over fertilizers, insecticides, and seeds. The said support services form part of the total of P80 million worth of FME and inputs that have been distributed by the DAR Regional Office I and DAR Provincial Office to Pangasinan ARBs since July 5, 2025.
Several recipients are from towns that were declared to be under a state of calamity after the almost weeklong rain brought by two consecutive typhoons and the enhanced southwest monsoon.
DAR Secretary Conrado M. Estrella III led the awarding ceremony today at the Rosales Farmers’ Market in Tomana, Rosales, Pangasinan.
