Dahil sa mahusay niyang pagganap sa ‘Espantaho’: JUDY ANN, pinarangalan ng Senado matapos masungkit ang best actress sa Portugal

BINIGYAN ng parangal at pagkilala ng Senado ang award-winning actress at kilala ring Soap Opera Queen na si Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo matapos magwagi ng best actress sa Fantasporto Film Festival sa Portugal, para sa pinagbidahan niyang horror movie na “Espantaho.”

Si Sen. Jinggoy Estrada, na isa ring aktor, ang naghain ng Senate Resolution No. 1320 bilang pagkilala sa talento at kahusayan ni Judy Ann bilang isang Pinay artist na dalawang beses nang pinaranagal sa ibang bansa.

Panimula ng pahayag ng senador, “Her Best Actress win in Fantasporto, her second international best actress trophy following the recognition from Cairo Film Festival in 2019 for the movie ‘Mindanao’, proves her range and versatility as an actress who can not only make audiences cry buckets for her dramatic portrayals as a true royalty of Pinoy Soap Opera or hold her own as a female lead in action sequences, including our very own tandem, but can also send chills and suspense in horror blockbusters.”

Dagdag pa niya, “This is another feather in her cap, and a wonderful addition to a shelf of awards that characterized her stellar career spanning four decades.

“Ano pa ba ang hindi kayang gawin ng isang Judy Ann Santos? Top-rating TV star, box-office queen, renowned chef, best-selling book author, popular content creator, film producer, successful restauranteur, television host, recording artist.

“Napakasuwerte ng asawa nito. I am truly in awe of her long list of accomplishments and achievements.”

Papuri ni Sen. Kaya ganun na lang ang pasasalamat ni Judy Ann sa naturang pagkilala ng Senado sa panibagong tagumpay bilang aktres.

“Maraming salamat sa pagkilalang ito! Isang karangalan ang maiangat ang pelikulang Pilipino sa mundo,” mensahe ni Judy Ann sa kanyang social media post.

Napapanood na sa Netflix PH ang “Espantaho” na may English title na “Scarecrow”, na kung saan pangatlo ito sa Top Movies in the Philippines Today (as of June 6).

Tiyak na kaabang-abang din paglaban ni Juday bilang Best Actress sa paparating na awards season.

Isa nga rito ang 8th EDDYS ng SPEEd, na tuloy na tuloy na sa July 20 sa Marriot Grand Ballroom, Newport World Resorts.

Malamang next week at maglalabas na ng mga nominado sa 14 categories.
