“The President yearns for a decent future for all Filipinos and nothing less,” ayon pa rin kay Rodriguez sa naging talumpati nito sa Philippine International Convention Center sa Pasay City.

“You (the CESOs) will set the tone for the outcome of the President’s vision,” aniya pa rin.

Habang ang CESOs aniya ay  nakapag-navigate sa VUCAD (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity, and diversity) world, sinabi ni Rodriguez na  “there are certain attributes and skills that public managers must still develop to thrive in the present context.”

Tinalakay sa  two-day summit “Leading Change: Focus on the Core” ang CESO functions para sa  good governance at maging ang kanilang “competencies, mindsets, and values,” na kailangan para i-navigate ang daan ng  public service.

“The career executive service community must use the present political transition to emerge not just to a new, but to a better normal. This is done by harnessing the innovative spirit of the civil service,” ayon kay Civil Service Commission Chairperson Karlo Alexei Nograles sa kanyang naging talumpati. (BISHOP JESUS “JEMBA” M. BASCO)
