‘Broken Blossoms’, umani ng parangal sa filmfest sa India: JERIC at THERESE, ginawaran ng Critics Choice Award bilang Best Actor at Best Actress

UMANI ng parangal ang Philippine entry na Broken Blossoms sa Mokkho International Film Festival sa India.

Sa IG account ni Direk Louie Ignacio, pinost nito ang mga nakuhang awards ng dinirek niyang pelikula na bida sina Jeric Gonzales at Therese Malvar.

Best Narrative Feature Film ang Broken Blooms. Special Jury Award naman ang nakuha ni Direk Louie bilang director.

Critics Choice Award naman ang ginawad kina Jeric at Therese sa categories na Best Actor and Best Actress in an Indie.

NAG-SHARE sa kanyang Instagram ang international star na si Lea Salonga ng kanyang character sa upcoming HBO Max series na Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin.

Pinost ng Tony Award-winning actress ang isang kuha sa kanyang eksena na nilagyan niya ng caption na: “Coming summer 2022.”

In-announce ni Lea noong September 2021 ang pagkaka-cast niya sa bagong Pretty Little Liars series.

“The moms have descended upon the town of Millwood! And we have secrets and lies of our own, can’t let the children have all the fun. So excited to be part of the cast of Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin,” sey pa ni Lea.

Makakasama rin sa series sina Sharon Leal, Elena Goode, Zakiya Young at Carly Pope.

Ayon sa Variety: “Salonga will play the role of Elodie, the overbearing mother of Minnie (Malia Pyles) who works overtime to protect her daughter from her childhood trauma. The series is set in the present, 20 years after a series of tragic events almost ripped the blue-collar town of Millwood apart. Now, a disparate group of teen girls — the new ‘Little Liars’ — find themselves tormented by an unknown ‘Assailant’ and made to pay for the secret sin their parents committed two decades ago, as well as their own.”

Ang original na Pretty Little Liars ay pinagbidahan nina Lucy Hale, Shay Mitchell, Ashley Benson, Sasha Pieterse at Troian Bellisario. Nagtapos ang naturang series noong 2017 after seven seasons.
