Administrasyong Marcos, nalampasan ang 2022 revenue target ng 2.2%

NALAMPASAN na ng administrasyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ang  revenue target para sa 2022 ng 2.2%.

 

 

Ito ang inanunsyo ng  Office of the Press Secretary (OPS), tinukoy ang report ng Department of Finance (DOF).

 

 

Sinabi ng OPS na ang lumabas na  revenue collections mula sa Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) at  Bureau of Customs (BOC) ay umabot sa  P3.2 trillion base year-end report ng DoF.

 

 

Nalampasan ng nasabing halaga ang  full-year 2022 Development Budget Coordination Committee (DBCC) target ng 2.2%, ayon sa DOF.

 

 

Pinangasiwaan din ng  DoF ang pagsasagawa ng “grants at technical assistance” na nagkakahalaga ng $85.5 million.

 

 

“The Philippine Economic Briefings and Meetings with credit rating agencies such as Standard & Poor’s, and Fitch and Moody’s, where the economic team showcased the country’s bright economic prospects, were also a feat for the DOF,” ayon sa OPS.

 

 

Para sa taong 2023, kabilang sa plano ng DoF ang  “rightsizing the agency’s bureaucracy, and continue pushing for key measures such as the Excise Tax on Single-Use Plastics, Value Added Tax on Digital Service Providers, Ease of Paying Taxes, and Mining Fiscal Regime.”

 

 

Tinatayang  $19.1 billion na official development aid (ODA), $9.2 billion na loans o utang mula sa multilateral partners, at $9.8 billion na  loans mula sa  bilateral lenders ang tinatantyang ise-secure ng  national government sa darating na taon. (Daris Jose)
