Pag-angat ng Pilipinas sa Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) 2025, umani ng papuri sa mga mambabatas

UMANI ng papuri sa mga mambabatas ang pag-angat ng Pilipinas sa Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) 2025.

Sa pangunguna ni Speaker Faustino “Bojie” G. Dy III, pinuri nila si Secretary Juan Edgardo Angara at ang Department of Education (DepEd) sa kanilang pagtugon sa problema ng basic education. 

“This is the result of a collective effort—from the national government and DepEd, down to our school leaders and, most importantly, our teachers who turn policies and resources into actual learning every day. These results tell us that progress is possible when we stay focused on learning outcomes and support our teachers and students,” sinabi ni Dy.

Pinapurihan din ng mga mambabatas si Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. sa kanyang adhikain na gawin prayoridad ang sektor ng edukasyon.

“That commitment is reflected in the resources government continues to invest in our schools and our young people. These investments matter because improving education requires sustained support—not just for one year, but over many years. Masaya tayo sa progreso, pero hindi tayo dapat makuntento,” ani Dy.

Ayon kay Dy, ang naging pag-angat ng Pilipinas sa PISA ay ebidensiya na posible ang pagpapabuti ng edukasyon sa bansa.

“Our responsibility is to build on these gains and make sure that progress reaches every classroom and every Filipino child. Congress will continue to do its part. We will support the reforms, programs, and investments necessary to give our teachers the tools they need and every Filipino child the quality education they deserve,” sinabi Dy. (VINA de GUZMAN)
