AYAW patulan at sakyan ng Malakanyang ang naging panawagan ng Duterte Youth party-list sa Department of National Defense (DND) na kanselahin na rin ang agreement nito sa Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) katulad ng ginawa sa University of the Philippines (UP).

Sa ulat, ang katuwiran ni Duterte Youth party-list Representative Ducielle Cardema na ang UP-DND Accord at PUP-DND Accord ay klarong klaro na special treatment na inabuso na sa matagal ng panahon.

“Karapatan naman po iyan ng Duterte Youth na magsalita ano? pero iyan po ay opinyon ng Duterte Youth,” giit ni Sec. Roque.

Nauna rito, sinabi ni Cong. Cardema, UP graduate na ilang makakaliwa na ang nang-abuso sa UP-DND Accord.

“With this in mind… the Duterte Youth party-List fully supports the move of the DND to cancel the UP-DND Accord which has been abused by some radical leftist groups to promote the youth recruitment of the CPP-NPA-NDF in their campuses,” ani Cardema.

“As Vice-Chairperson of the House Committee on National Defense and Security, I call on the DND to also cancel its similar PUP-DND Accord,” lahad pa nito.

Batay kay Cardema, ang UP-DND at PUP-DND Accords ay bumubuo ng inequality sa higit 400 campuses ng State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) sa bansa.

“Itong UP-DND Accord at PUP-DND Accord ay klarong klaro na special treatment na inabuso na, sa tagal ng panahon.”

‘Kung sa 400 plus campuses ng iba’t ibang SUCs ng bansa wala namang ganyang accord pero peaceful naman, tama lamang tanggalin na ang special treatment na yan na naaabuso rin naman,” giit pa nito.
