Ultimatum kay Ako Bicol Partylist Rep. Zaldy Co hanggang Lunes para bumalik ng bansa

BINIGYAN ni Speaker Faustino “Bojie” G. Dy III si Ako Bicol Partylist Rep. Zaldy Co ng hanggang Lunes, September 29, 2025 para bumalik ng bansa at harapin ang mga alegasyon laban sa kanya.

Nagbabala ito na ang kabiguan na sumunod ay “shall be construed as a refusal to subject yourself to the lawful processes of the House and will result in the initiation of appropriate disciplinary and legal actions.”

Ang ultimatum ni Speaker ay nakasaad sa isang liham nitong Boyernes bilang tugon sa pahayag ni Co na bawiin ang kanyang travel clearance.

Sinabi pa ng Isabela solon na ang hiling ni Co ay inirefer sa House Committee on Ethics, kung saan nakapending ang reklamo.

Siniguro ng Speaker kay Co na “should you choose to return home, the House will coordinate with the proper authorities to secure your safety and that of your family.”

Paliwanag nito na ang kanselasyon ng travel clearance ni Co ay isang oportunidad upang masagot nito ang mga alegasyon laban sa kanya sa tamang forum.

“Coming home will allow you to respond to this complaint, as well as to fully present and elaborate on the defenses you outlined in your letter. The only proper way to address these matters is not through correspondence from abroad, but by returning, appearing at the proper forum, and answering the charges directly.” pagtatapos ni speaker.
