PBBM, mahigpit ang ginawang pagsusuri, pagrepaso sa performance ng Cabinet members

MAHIGPIT ang ginawang pagsusuri ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr., sa performance ng mga miyembro ng kanyang gabinete.

Sa isang ambush interview matapos ang oath taking ceremony ni bagong Associate Justice Raul Villanueva sa Kalayaan PBS, Malakanyang, sinabi ng Pangulo na nananatili pa rin ang proseso ng pagsusuri at pagrepaso sa performance ng mga ito.

“You know, I have to explain that it’s not a Cabinet revamp. What we really did was we are still in the process of examining. Now, nasa baba na tayo. What happened really here was that I put everyone on notice that you are all on, basically all on probation,” ayon sa Pangulo.

“And, okay, this time, it looks like yung iba maganda naman ang performance,” dagdag na wika ng Pangulo.

Sa ngayon aniya ay nasa level na sila ng Undersecretary at mga ahensiya.

“But we are, what essentially, what you call, what you refer to as a Cabinet revamp, it’s not a one-shot, one-time, big-time thing. It is an ongoing thing. This is something, it is essentially putting all government agencies, departments on notice that we have to do better. And we will be looking very, very closely and we will make that review on a periodic basis,” ang pahayag nito.

“Maybe a quarterly basis. Titignan natin, yung mga target ba natin, nakuha ba natin, on a quarterly basis. And we’ll be much, much more rigorous in looking at the performance, not only at the top level, but all the way. All the way. And that’s why we’ll see, I’m sure you will see more changes in the future,” ang sinabi ni Pangulong Marcos.

Samantala, sinabi ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin na maraming tatamaan sa patuloy na ginagawang balasahan sa Gabinete ni Pangulong Marcos.

Tiniyak ni Bersamin na maraming opisyal at appointees ang maaapektuhan habang nagpapatuloy ang ebalwasyon.

Prayoridad ng Office of the President (OP) ang pagrerebisa ng iba’t ibang departamento na may kinalaman sa pangunahing serbisyo at pang-araw-araw na buhay ng mga Pilipino.

Inamin ni Bersamin na may ilang pinuno ng ahensya ang hindi madaling tanggalin subalit sumasailalim sa ebalwasyon at masusing pagsusuri.  (Daris Jose)
