CBCP naglunsad ng adbokasiya para sa pananalig, pagkakaisa vs COVID-19 pandemic

Hinikayat ng mga lider ng simbahan ang mga Pilipino na kumapit sa kanilang pananampalataya ngayong coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

Sa ulat, inilunsad ng Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines ang bagong national campaign na “Yakapin ang Bagong Bukas (Embrace the New Tomorrow).”

Ito ay ang malawakang isang minutong pagkakampana sa buong bansa sa ganap na alas-6 ng gabi upang maging simbolo ng pananampalataya at pagkakaisa.

“[T]he sufferings, anxieties and uncertainties that have been brought about by this crisis will have disastrous consequences on the lives of individuals, families and communities and societies all over the world,” saad ni acting CBCP president at concurrently Bishop of the Diocese of Kalookan Pablo Virgilio David.

“But we can also make this crisis an opportunity that will bring out the best in us.”
