PBBM, hangad na makapagpatayo ng mas maraming barangay health centers

HANGAD ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na makapagpatayo pa ng mas maraming health centers sa  mga rural area.

Inihayag ng Pangulo ang plano niyang ito habang nagsasagawa ng pag-inspeksyon sa disenyo ng pasilidad na tinawag na “Clark Multi-Specialty Medical Center” sa Pampanga.

Layon ng proyekto na magdala ng specialized healthcare sa mga Filipino sa labas ng Kalakhang Maynila.

“This is not a single project that stands on its own alone. This part of a larger system of healthcare provision that we are putting together to service our kababayans so that they don’t have to wait to get very, very sick before they go to the big hospitals,” ayon sa Pangulo sa kanyang naging talumpati.

“We are bringing healthcare down to the people,” dagdag na wika nito.

Batid naman ng Pangulo ang kanyang layunin na bigyan ang mga mahihirap na Filipino ng access sa medical treatments.

“We will establish rural healthcare units. We will establish barangay centers. We will establish botica de barangay,” aniya pa rin.

“All of these things we are putting together so that, at least, when it comes to the fundamental healthcare for our countrymen, that, we can say, is readily available to them,” ani Pangulong Marcos. (Daris Jose)
