NAIA, Shewarma at Maria Cristina, maglalaban sa korona: MANILA, pinangatawanan na walang makapapantay sa ‘Pinoy Drag Queens’

PINANGANGATAWAN  pa rin ni Manila Luzon, ang host ng “Drag Den Philippines” host aka Drag Lord,  na walang makapapantay sa Pinoy Drag Queens.

Sa presscon ng “Drag Den Philippines” last Tuesday sinabi ni Manila na, “I know that the Philippines is jampacked with entertainers, dancers, singers, comedians, and I’m so happy that we’re now opening up a new category for Filipino entertainment, and that is drag.”

Ayon pa sa alumna ng “RuPaul Drag Race” nakapag-travel at nakapag-perform na kasama ang ilan sa most established names in the international drag scene, pero walang katulad ang mga Filipino queens.

Kaya buong ningning niyang nasambit na, “Drag in the Philippines is the best in the world. “And I’m so proud to showcase them and let the audience I’ve garnered over the years see how fantastic drag is out here.”

Inspired ng gay pageants mounted on the streets of the Philippines ang “Drag Den Philippines” na ng-premiere last December 2022 sa Amazon Prime.

Bumalik si Manila Luzon sa bansa para sa grand finale ng “Drag Den Philippines,” na magaganap ngayong gabi.

Ang Top 3 contestants na sina NAIA, Shewarma at Maria Cristina ang maglalaban para sa titulong “Drag Supreme”. 

Habang magtsi-cheer sa kanila ang iba pang miyembro ng “Drag Cartel” na sina OA, Aries Night, Barbie-Q, Pura Luka Vega, Lady Gagita kasama si “Drag Dealer” Nicole Cordoves, at “Drag Runner” Sassa Gurl.

Kamakailan lang ay nag-judge siya sa recently concluded na “Ms. Dragdagulan 2023” sa ginanap sa Maginhawa Street, Quezon City, na-experience ni Manila Luzon kanyang firsthand baranggayan dragdagulan.”

“I knew I was going to be in for a night of amazing entertainment, but I wasn’t ready,” natatawang kuwento ni Manila.

“When one of the queens jumped off to the stage and went straight to split, came over to the judges’ table, picked it up with her bare hands, then climbed u  and did a backflip off of it, I knew that that was the ‘dragdagulan’ I’ll never forget it,” dagdag pa niya.

Panoorin si Manila Luzon na magputong ng crown sa first-ever Drag Supreme on “Drag Den Philippines” sa grand coronation night and finale concert at the Samsung Hall, SM Aura Premier.
