LTO naka-heightened alert sa Undas

NAKA-HEIGHTENED  alert  ang Land Transportation Office (LTO) para matiyak na ligtas ang paglalakbay ng mga motorista sa panahon ng Undas.

Sa ilalim ng “Oplan Biyaheng Ayos Undas 2022”  masusing babantayan ng mga elemento ng LTO ang mga aktibidad sa  main thoroughfares at transport terminals sa mga lalawigan, bayan at lungsod mula  October 27  hanggang November 4, 2022.

Ang lahat ng  LTO regional at district offices nationwide ay naka-alerto kayat ang mga tauhan ng LTO ay walang leave at day off sa naturang mga araw.

Ang LTO ay nagkaroon din ng multi-sectoral coordination sa  mga  law enforcement, road management at iba pang  concerned government agencies  para sa maayos na preparasyon para sa Undas.

Nagkaroon din ng  Road Safety and Defensive Driving seminar ang LTO sa mga driver at konduktor ng pampasaherong bus upang mapalakas ang kampanya para maiwasan ang  pagmamaneho ng nakakainom ng alak at paggamit ng droga tuloy ay maihatid ng ligtas ang mga pasahero sa kanilang destinasyon.

“We are already anticipating our cemeteries to be teeming with more people during the week prior to All Saints’ Day compared to the previous two years since lockdowns and community quarantines have already been lifted. The public can rest assured, however, that the LTO will monitor the situation in our roads in close coordination with various transport groups and other concerned government agencies in the areas of law enforcement and medical emergency response to ensure that road safety will always be observed and maintained,”  pahayag ni  LTO Chief Teofilo Guadiz.
