‘State visit, nagbunga ng $14.36 billion investment pledges’ – Pangulong Marcos

INIULAT ng Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na nakalikom sila ng $14.36 billion investment pledges sa kanyang state visit sa Indonesia at Singapore.

Katumbas ito ng halos P800,000,000,000, batay sa kasalukuyang palitan ng piso at dolyar.

Kabilang sa mga deal na ito ang nasa sector ng renewable energy, data centers, e-commerce, broadband technology, startups, government housing at agriculture.

Gayunman, maaari pa itong magbago alinsunod sa implimentasyon ng naturang mga kasunduan.

“We look forward to doing the detailed work that is necessary to bring all of these proposals to fruition and that is what we are all now going to bend ourselves to this work. We will not stop until we can come back and say that these MOUs and letters of intent would bear results,” wika ng pangulo.

Sa simpleng kataga, maisasalarawan umano ng presidente ang kanyang biyahe bilang “fruitful and engaging.”

Pinasalamatan naman ng Pangulo ang naging mainit na pagtanggap sa kaniya nina Indonesian President Jokowi Widodo, Singaporean President Halimah Yacob at Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong para sa kanyang inaugural state visit. (Daris Jose)
